Chris Ray has outdone himself...

A very nice compilation of information regarding the last 2-D based arcade boards is avaliable at www.ngfusa.com

A very good read.

Chris was sent that Crystal System to evaluate like he and Dion are "Just friends".

Fucking egotistical bastard. You know he paid out of the ass to get that cart/system.

I wonder if Chrissy jerks off to his collections? I mean placing those system provacatively in varying poses.

Oh, and I would hardly call this "review" fantastic.

Cool reviews. Great pics and info for the uninformed. Never even heard of the PGM before, are these 3 systems swapable? Meaning, can someone have a single cab and simply swap out the MVS, plug in the PGM or Crystal (with their respective games) and have at it? If so, I have some shopping to do...

PS: I'm very jealous of this guy's collection. Where the fuck did he find three prestine Neo Candys. That rug is pretty cool too. Rat bastard...

I noticed the middle Candy was modified with a six button layout. Harness compatibility issue: outlook not so good.

The information was "FREE" so I did'nt get ripped off which is cool...
Pretty useless info though because given the tone of his "LOOK WHAT I GOT" session it led me to believe MVS is still #1 right now in the 2D arena and the other two systems are and will follow in the footsteps of the Hyper 64 systems.
His "LOOK WHAT I GOT" session was hardly a review because his so-called review should'nt have people asking more questions..
he did'nt break down the specs..NOTHING!
how did he get all of his stuff??
Justy ask harry Hazzard who's still waiting after 2 months to receive two sheets of paper aka NGF inserts Chris Ray claimed he was out of stock on...
Maybe some of Harry's money went toward that Crystal System...

While I was very glad to see he had the information that he had posted, I wanted more as well. Specs would be nice one of these days. But, I enjoyed what I got never the less.

Thanks for the positive input on the Shodown. Its stuff like this I really doing for the 2D gaming fan. There really aren't many choices for the arcade fan when it comes to 2D, so I thought this Shodown would be a nice informational piece.

Thanks,

The IGS PGM

http://www.igs.com.tw/www/en/main.html

There is another site out there with some screen shoots I will try to dig up. It Does look pretty cool. I saw a game on ebay recently. Although I will not go so far as to say it is the best thing out there.

Unfortunitly as always I also see people are trying to emulate it as well.

The requests have been pouring in for me to post the system specs. I will compile them later today and post them up at the 2D Shodown page.

Thanks for all the nice emails.

HEY, that was A great read so dont flame it. it did not use all the NGF slogans or any thing like that. it was done VERY well. and as far as the specs, well they could of been given but specs really dont mean shit.
as far as the hardware, the super neo type 2's with the lcd screen can be gotten for $1000 shipped in near mint (SOMETIMES mint) condition and some times with an un altered control panel. the other neo type 2 with the 4 slot marquee can be had for $750 shipped in the same condition. I do not know how much it is to convert the candies to A shooter cab though.
thanks for the 2d shodown Chris, great job.

Hey FRAUD! I posted that there were NO system SPECS here! If your intentions were "genuine" you would have given more detailed information in the 1st place!
Chris..you're not a dumb person..you did'nt forget about specs..not you..not "MR. TECHIE"
That was a NGF infomercial and most importantly a "LOOK WHAT I GOT" session!

Thanks for all the nice e-mails???
How about responding to Harry Hazzard's e-mail and shipping out his damn inserts!
He's been waiting for two months! Give a refund or his inserts!! You can find time to put on a "show" but you can't take care of customers??
My NGF Campaign is WIN-WIN for me SHUGAH! Those who wish to ignore me will be punished by NGF!! You deserve the heartache SMART ASS! Those who wish to believe me will PUNISH NGF and be proud of themselves when you eventually collapse!
Hahahaha!!

That was a great review, although like most people I must agree it could have used some tech specs, still great job.

You could probably have one jamma cab and switch between the 3 units as you wish. I know the latest neogeo mvs board and the crystal are jamma, and the pgm is probably jamma too, otherwise it wouldn't be a very convenient buy for any arcade operator i guess.

If you do not have enough space for a cab at home you could use a super gun unit to play arcade games on your tv.

Hope this helps

Hey Chris,here is another suggestion....
Would you mind if I asked you to take a pic of the remaining "Official" NGF Zupapa cartridges??
It should'nt be a big deal since this IS an official product...
You acepted pre-orders and sold over four hundred copies or should we just sweep this under the rug like the rest of NGF scams??
Place all 90 something you have left near one of those CANDY's.
Thankyou my friend.

Well, first he would actually have to have made more than 2 Zupapa Carts in order to fill that tall order, BB.

Take your propaganda elsewhere, Piss.

Leave poor Chris alone. He'd be more than happy to show you the rest of the carts Big Bear. He just hasn't learned how to use "copy/paste" yet.
