SNK Re-opening US offices
Good things never die, really. Just look at how Infogrames bought what was left of Atari and is now branding its games with the 30-year-old Atari logo. When you have a game company that's produced the quantity of well-known and well-liked games that SNK did, it's hard to let things just...go away. Well, SNK's founder's sister now owns the rights to the SNK, Neo-Geo, etc., and she has plans. In addition to the news article posted on our site today, we have heard that SNK is looking to re-open offices here in the US, and that it has plans to create games for multiple platforms starting in 2002. This may lead to two different development houses, one in Japan and one in the US. We'll know more concrete news soon.
