What this guy doesn't know is that any type of "plastic" material covering another item that is plastic makes it worse for the condition of the item he's trying to protect in the long run. The reason for this is because if the temperature of the room is lower or higher than room temperature, which most of the time it is, the covers of the Neo cases can become warped over time.

Just think of anything covered by plastic when the temperature is higher. It will cause the material to deform. I had this happen to my earlier AES cases when I "protected" them this way. In his case, a thin plastic bag makes it worse, since it's prone to "heat" up faster because of it's density.

I wonder if this is the reason why all the new home carts don't come shrink-wrapped, earlier title just have a sticker at the case to prove its newness.

Hmm, that doesn't make sense Trieuminator. Why would plastic warp due to minor variances in temperature? The temperature would have to be extreme (either hot or cold) to cause warping, and I fail to see how plastic would speed up this process. One thing you DO have to worry about when protecting ANYTHING with plastic is the acids that may transfer. If you don't use special acid-free plastic protective gear it can cause discoloration and loss of detail over time. This can happen in as little as one year, and the process speeds up when heat is applied so you have to be careful.
