It just occurred to me, wouldn't there be Korean versions of AES carts now, along with the Japanese and US?

Now that would be an interesting bind for collectors. Haha...

I can't say the thought hasn't crossed my head.

There have been AES carts and home systems produced in Korea before, but none of those were in Korean. Now that the company is officially in Korea, we may get the new language (or not). There's something about SNK and common sense that eludes me <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Yeah, I sent Jeff my SS4 (from Pichai, who didn't know it was korean), and Jeff confirmed that the chips were authentic. He then swapped the korean chips for normal non-korean chips and the game plays great now. I don't know if he still does conversions, but I bet !Arcade! would do the same. I did hoave to pay for the SS4 mvs cart that Jeff used for the original chips, so keep that in mind.

SS4 korean - $130
SS4 MVS -$30
labor - ???

could actually come up under $200...

And my point wasn't about the origins of the hardware but rather the printed documents and also the ingame language.
