Are any SNK games coming to the PS2?
Also I heard on a site that SNK is out of business FOREVER!!! Is this true?

Ps2 is a load of crap ! Ps2 won't get any SNK games because quality games and Ps2 don't mix .

Don`t worry - SNK will eventually release games for PS2, just like they did for PSX. After all, they don`t wont to release their stuff on doomed consoles like the xbox or the gamecube.

Gamecube is here to stay, the XBOX is a new comer to true mainstream gaming so its death is chancey.
I also believe PS2 is in it for the long run to.
Unless Squaresoft quits gaming and starts selling bubblegun <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

I haven't been impressed by the 2D of the PS2.

On paper I think that all 3 are capable of decent 2D, but the PS2 has yet to demostrate that capability.

I think the Xbox has ample power to do it and The Gamecube is not only powerful enough, but has a slew of sprite and 2D libraries for texture effects that could easily be used in 2D games.

But as far as SNK games on PS2? Nope...I don't think I want to see that.

i agree with blaine. look at kof99 on psx. oh my god! utter rubbish. even dead consoles (DC) handles them much MUCH more better. it's either MVS, AES or DC (RIP) for neo games.

I kinda liked KOF 99 on PS. Yeah, it looked wierd since the characters where smaller, but I like playing the game. As long as there is a KOF game for PS2 I'll be happy.

Why are you judging a potential PS2 game on the basis of a version for a completely different system? That's like saying FF Special sucks on the NEO because you played the shite SNES version. There is no basis for comparison. Apples and Oranges.

I'm satisfied with GGX on teh PS2, Along with Cap vs. SNK2. If people try hard, good things can come out of it.

SNK needs to make games for other platforms, they just can't survive putting everything into the Neo. People saying they don't want to see SNK doing something on the PS2 are just crazy. That's the best thing that could happen to them - if they do it well. If they released a Metal Slug Collection for the PS2, who would go out and buy it? It would kick ass, and it would handle it well, provided SNK did a good job on porting. I'm all for anything that will keep SNK alive.

uhhhhhhh, not to burst anyone's bubble but SNK is dead. Let's hope the company that now owns SNK's right will release games quickly.
