Actually I think Big Bear has a really good point. The duo supposedly sold almost 400 Zupapa home carts, and yet I haven't heard a single peep from anyone about the game . . . haven't seen a pic of it, the insert, the manual, the cart, ANYTHING. I think they're blowing smoke out of their collective asses as usual, and I'd like to know exactly where these ~FOUR HUNDRED home carts went? With such a large number of Neo gamers in these forums, you'd think ONE PERSON would have bought the game? And would show us pictures of the cart, insert, and manual?

Its a legitimate question by BB, deserves an answer . . . and if there is no answer, then the point has once again been made.

I find it hard to believe that Shawn is having difficulty moving the 500 copies of Slug 3 he got, even with tons of owners talking about how awesome it is, yet these jokers can move 400 copies of a game practically overnight without anyone even mentioning their purchase and backing up the validity of this release.

Never dealt with them. Never will.

And another thing--I'm very thankful for Big Bear's obsession with forcing these guys out of business. When I first got into the Neo, I went to the NGF web site to check out their games. Then I found this place. It was one of Big Bear's raving posts that clued me in to the evil that is NGF. I'd love to see a topic permanently locked at the top of each forum warning noobs about the dangers of dealing with NGF. It could save a lot of people a lot of wasted dollars.

Thanks Big Bear. Keep fighting the good fight, and fuck anyone who criticizes you for it.

Over 300+ copies of this game was sold!
Pre-orders were solicited!
Was this yet another SCAM perpetrated by NGF?
I want to see PROOF!
I want to see "tracking number"
I want to see "insert"
I want to see the "manual"

Over 300+ cartridges were shipped out the 17th /18th of this month.
This should be big news!

Do yourself a big favor Big Bear, dont hold your breath. NGF neglects to tell everyone that the company the supposedly bought this cart from has been bankrupt for 3 years? That is the way I hear it anyway.

And yes you are right if Slug 3 hasnt sold out yet how the hell can this POS? Many unanswered questions. Hey if you bought the cart lets see pics, if I had a new toy I would be more than happy to show everyone.

It is ok to be obsessed Big Bear, when someone slanders you I believe it gives you the right. The public has the right to know, keep up the good work.

People don't realize how serious this is....
NGF has a website up where they solicited Pre-orders for Zupapa meaning that they were willing to accept payment for a game that they claim to have 300+ persons paid.
This is a "criminal act" if the game is not produced! This is "deception" @ it's finest!
GA this goes waaaaaaaay beyong "defemation",I received that apology and I have the script to prove it!
This is the "right thing to do"
Criminal Acts of this nature will not be "swept" under the rug any longer!!
SCAMMING and LYING is not "cute"

Yeap sure is Big Bear!!! The word is fraud and if anyone actually did give them a down payment on something they did not possess it is a big No No!!

You know what the sick thing about it is? I think these 2 foolios dont understand what can actually happen to them if they get hung up in this sort of scam!!

No Neo cart is worth going to jail for, no amount of money is either. These 2 better think before they act or they could find themselves spending quality time with another BB...LMAO, Not Big Bear but Big Bubba...LMAO.

A website "store front" setup to commit "fraud" gives the government a reason to disrupt legitimate business activities!
Is that what legitimate website store front's
want?? HELL NO!
SHUGAH Ray was right? I am obsessed?? All this to say what?? Leave them alone allowing them to continually commit "FRAUD" on fellow members of the community??
I WANT AN ANSWER!

LOL simon_belmont? Was that not like some convicted felon?
Man that sounds like such bullshit, I am guessing aol this time.
There never was a zupapa home-cart, its just BS. (Anyone who can prove that wrong, feel free, I can except being wrong if I am)

Soon you will see names like "johnathon_ryan" and other alias's say something.
All talk and no show, even show isnt convincing enough considering the source.

There are so many GOOD sources to get games in this scene, the sellers section for one.
NGF sounds like some kind of gay meeting, and those Neobuyer pics are giving it a completely new appeal.

I cannot believe how truly ridiculous this scene is, why not just file a lawsuit? There is more then a case, sitting out in public moking people. Loss of A shitlot of dough. Theft, slander etc.

Man if some dude robbed me like 600 bucks, I would fucking cap his ass.
I could not live in peace knowing that I got burned all that dough, and yes violence is the answer in that kind of situation.
Give the goose his gander.

The worst I ever had was loose a few bucks on a cd from FINALENDCOLLECT on ebay.
Cause ebay is fake as shit, I cannot negative that person or I will get a revenge negative in return.

Inet business is bullshit in so many ways, thats the great thing about having legs, I just stand up and go buy the shit I want somewhere local.
Neo-Geo is so damn cult, that inet business is the biggest medium to get games.

I say this, if you buy from ngf, you deserve the shit you get in return, on the condition you were warned ahead of time.

BTW Zupapa is one of the most retarded title names I have yet to here.

Let me try to break it down for ya.

Starting with 300 Zupapa MVS carts:

If they were converted by them I estimate roughly half were destroyed by poor converting.

300-150 = 150

Out of the 150 remaining, minus ligit sales of 20, leaves 130.

Out of the remaining 130, 50 go to NGF family for Christmas (some receive more then one). I estimate that the remaining 80 were split between the two. Most of which will be used as "dummy photo" carts for Crossed Swords 2, Iron Clad, US Kazuna, and possibly even the fabled Mortal Kombat vs. KOF cart.

The world may never know.

I don't think JHendrix = JHunter. Actually, I'm 99% positive that JHunter is one of Dion's fake IDs in his forums. Why? Well look at this post by "JHunter", titled "NGF bigger than NeoGeo", posted on 12/24:

We all have to hand it to NGF. No matter what people say about them good or bad, they are synonymous with the NeoGeo and the world around NeoGeo. Basically ever topic posted that I have read turns into a NGF discussion. People have made web pages, played with photos of both Dion and Chris, and some people have taken the time to make comics and even write Christmas poems. It's really something.
Dion and Chris, you guys have accomplished your goals. You guys ARE bigger than the NeoGeo now. And I am being 100% serious.

Merry Christmas.

Now only a complete moron would believe that "JHunter" is a REAL person. The style of the writing is 100% Dion's style, right down to the comments about people making doctored pictures of the duo. Also, Dion posted a thread a while ago in his forums titled "NGF admiration runs strong - thanks to all", and Chris posted one titled "NGF transcends the Neo Geo". All three posts had the same style, and the JHunter one in particular was exactly like Dion.

Personally I think most of the IDs in their near-dead forums are fake, including "TacoX", "JHunter", "Luke", "Atom", "Beemer", etc. They whistle their fake buddies in to try to boost their rep, but of course they're preaching to maybe 5 active people in the whole forums, most of whom already seem to know better.

LWK dont trip on internet business to hard Bro. There are still some good guys left. I can say this much when you buy from Gamers Abyss you dont have to worry you get what you pay for. It is truely sad what these pussies are doing though. If this scene wasnt small enough they are doing it no favors.

Yeah the Neo Geo online sales are crazy, always fights and whats real, whats fake, your price is to high, your price is to low but I can tell you this, the good guys are the ones who will stay in the business the longest. You steal from people, misrepresent your product, slander other people and put rediculous stamps all over collectable items you sell to your customers, this type of thread about you is what you can expect.

I have been in this business for 21 years and one thing is for sure if you screw somebody it will come back to haunt you and the scammers will always be weeded out, it just takes time.
