I got mine in too.
I'm mainly getting it for colelcting purposes and to see the old BG's, since 2000 is the weakest game in the series by far.

I like 2000 quite a bit actualy, still not 98, but still a very very good game. I'd say my fave next to 98 (not played 2001 much). Takes all kinds <img src="graemlins/glee.gif" border="0" alt="[Glee]" /> Dont know if I'll pick up the DC version though, I am quite happy with my AES cart and am pretty sure I wouldnt play it since I have the original. Dont know if a few new BGs would be worth it. I know I hardly ever touched my 99 DC but would play the neo version all the time.

I have to buy this - Eventhough I own the Jap. AES. If I don't buy it my DC 2D collection won't be complete! 
Will the DC version come with the trademark DC 3D backgrounds and enhanced music? I hope so. I hope the music is seamless between rounds at least - that's one of my pet hates about KOF'99 M, shame on me for not owning the KOF'98 AES. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
