Bloody hell, i can hardly see them! Looks a bit like a cross between Raiden and Aero Fighters, perhaps? Could be nice, always good to have new 2D shooters.

I have not heard of the Taito Gnet system. Do you have any more info on this?

Taito G-Net is based on a psx. The main cpu is almost twice the speed and the graphics processor are completely different and much more powerful.

You can get more information about it in the Taito section at www.system16.com

RayStorm is FX-1, but RayCrisis is a G-Net game.

RayCrisis on G-Net has 2 Player, unlike the PS version. The G-Net version's graphics are considerably sharper as well.

The G-Net must download the game off of the PCMCIA II card. When you give it a new card, you get a screen with a blue progress bar (this takes probably about 2 minutes).

This new game XII Stag reminds me of a cross between Raiden Fighters and Vapor Trail from the pictures. Hopefully Taito will get a PS2 port out someday (probably give it 6 months to a year, I'd guess).

Speaking of G-Net, Takumi has another new game out on it. Rather than a shmup, it's a puzzle game called Weather Tales.
