Digital Bridges has acquired the rights to SNK games for production on mobile phones. They have announced King of Fighters as one of the first titles.

that would be neat.
if they had sidescrollers like sengoku
or games like zuppapa and nightmare in the dark
that would be reason enough for me to get a cell phone

maybe they should make somesort of TV out from a mobile/cell phone. and it should be bloody DTS sound output.

Personally I think they'd be cool, it'll probably be difficult unless your phone has some type of pointing device, but...eh...neat idea none the less.

you are forgetting that mobile phones' pixels only can be ON and OFF (not different intensity like the gameboy pixels...) How they are gonna clear graphics? And in that resolution? like Heidern sais in KOF'99... "Bizarre"

Guys, you're forgetting that mobile technology is advancing all the time. By the time these games come out, phones might just be able to give us something playable.

Actually I doubt they are working on phones that we have in america, they are probably workin on the phones that are only available over seas right now that are J2ME and the like compatible. These have a full color display and already have games like need for speed and the like (and they actually look really good). I don't doubt it will look cool, but it is just funny to think about how it will play.

Only puzzle games and some other "easy to play" games will have any chance to survive in the mobile market.

In the good side ... more money to SNK NeoGeo due to licenses :D

Other side .. destroying classics :(

Wow just think playing king of fighters on your phone! Hehe As for theneo geo logo, i wish i could help. To get ringtones (i have athenas) go to <a href="http://www.kofonline.com" target="_blank">www.kofonline.com</a> but they dont have avery big selection. I have nak as a logo which i got from on.com :)
