Fucking MegaKing. Puej, making an emulator for it's own benefit (and using Mame code!) it's a Lamer action.

They're such lazys ... bastards!

I found only one auction for a Metal Slug PC game (MS2), here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1354271104

These releases were mentioned a while ago, and I wouldn't mind buying LEGITIMATE PC releases (as this one is I believe) of SNK games in the U.S., but it seems like the won't be put out here.

You're an idiot. No no, don't take offense, you're just dumb. Nothing wrong with that.

If it's an official release and playmore benefits from it, then i guess it's not too bad... As long as they keep the new games neo-geo only for a while before putting out pc versions.

It would enable people who wants to support these games but can't save enough money for a real neo-geo to help playmore a bit.

Personaly I had rather pay $10 then download it on my 26.4K connection speed. I think you should just accept emulators because in 20 years, that is all there will be left of the Neo Geo. Sure people will have the games but who cares in twenty years? It is not like SNK will care (or even Playmore) because they will have fried by then (SNK already has) and I doubt there will be a single arcade carrying any of their games. Just get over it and give in to the emu - you will feel better.

You'd rather blow $10 than download something overnight or at another time you're not using the computer?

Is this the real release?

So all they did was re-package mame, and put the MVS rom on a disc? Wow Lazy.

Wow 10 bucks for one rom and mame.

i guess thats why SNK never brought out the games
on PC.
sad too.
interplay brought out ss2 and ff3 but like that
really took off.
its a rom state of mind with alot of people though i suppose.
i would buy them if i saw them at my local ebs
or best buy.
its an official release and its good stuff.
good stuff. yea yea.
gotta get that good stuff.
better than pussing out and just having the rom that you downloaded.
you really cant have any excuse if its cheap official and available.

Just wanted to add that Interplay just rereleased those two games (along with many other games that were released on the PC between '95 and '96 in various parts of the world). I think Cyberbank, Gamebank, or something along those lines was the original company that made the ports. Interplay re-released:

Darius Gaiden
Battle Arena Toshinden 2
Fatal Fury 3: Road to the Final Victory
Puzzle Bobble 2
Raiden II
Samurai Shodown 2
Zeitgeist
Zero Divide

I think there were two others but I can't remember offhand.

All are worth it cause it's redbook audio so you have something badass to put in your stereo. :D

Hell, I would blow $20 on a game that worked rather than downloading it over night. The roms I tried to get didn't even work. About 150 megs over a period of 16 hours and nothing. Emus are nothing but pain for me. God I hate emus...

That's right rare. :D

Mind you it's the Neo CD tracks so it's cropped from the AST and not as long, but still kicks all sorts of ass.

Hell for $10 each you owe it to yourself to get all of these:

cool Rasa!
actually i emailed them about producing more games just now for the PC
SNK related.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hello,
I was just curious about the possiblity of your company releasing more SNK games such as the KOFs and Samurai Shodowns for the PC like you did for Samurai Shodown 2 and Fatal Fury 3 awhile ago. I'm sure there will be interest in the release of more of them since there is a big following for NEOGEO games. A company called MegaKing is making almost all of the games on PC and releasing them for under 20 dollars in Korea. I figure if you obtained more of the rights at a small price from SNK then you could do a collection of the games or perhaps release them individually for the PC. Maybe even make them for the consoles here in the US. Thank you for your time and consideration,
Sincerely,
Eddie
The company that made these is CyberFront. They're still around right now- they have ports of G. Darius, RayStorm, and RayCrisis on PC in Japan.
Layer Section was brought to the PC, but the port of that was pretty bad. There's no tate mode in it. It's like playing in the Saturn mode (you don't get the F3 special effects that the Saturn's Arcade mode puts in). It runs too fast on my Athlon 700 as well. Interplay published this one here.
