NGF purchase results

hey every body. I was typing this on saturday but the damn computer I was typing it on shut down and cut me off so I have to post this today.

this is the second part to A post I made A week ago about A purchase I meed with neo geo freak. to sum things up, all of the items were flawless with the exception of one thing, the prehistoric isle 2 video was some what of A let down because it was in used condition and the insert was cut off too short at the bottom, if you want to get really anal about it , the "genre stripping" onthe insert looked washed out and not as good as the strickers insert(this is some thing that I forgot to tell dion when I told him I received the package, sorry dion) other than that every thing went well. now I now I am going to hear alot of bitching about this post as I saw with the first part, but you can all keep the negative crap to your selves, like I said countless times before, I am not biased toward any company, I love all of the neo products that other companies like arcade andshawn sell, and I am all for it. there should be A variety of things to choose from, not some monopoly where NGF is the only alternative.I also want to add that, yes ,I had posted A topic about A month ago titled "and by the way" (stupid title I now realize but read it and you will understand)witch was when I first joined the forum. the response I got aws positive so i decided it would be good to post the results of my turn out with NGF.also in regards to the people that said I got ripped for prommo items, lets see now, just look at the pride shawn has up for the T shirts that he bought fron NGF for $20(or less)...... $40, fuck that, thats ubsurd. shawn has some good prices up on his neo store but that one is just blatantly inflated! and the posters and arcade flyer, well no one else has them , and I have seen them up on the selling forrum at least 5 times going for $20 A poster!!! hell even VDG got A FEW in and they were also selling them at $10 A pop. look I know I paid for promo items, I am not stupid,but as least I didnt pay as much as A lot of other people did, and hell, its what I wanted! when all is said and done though I think it is wrong for any one who gets this shit for free to charge these prices(be it NGF or any body else)I know I wouldnt do it, I cotacted tim jackson of apple systems and hes sending me some free stuff and I also got extras to give to big bruno FOR FREE because he helped me out. after all why should I rip him off for no good reason, people on this forum need to stop trying to milk every dollar they can from every body else, cause if you are your not just crooked your a FUCKIN MOORON as well cause this is A niche market, thers no real money here, you want to make real money invest in A real business. any way I am getting ahead of myself here. I just wanted to say my 2 cents, I am just A gamer like every one else, howe ever the is one more thing some of the other replies I got really pissed me off because they said "who cares about this, of course nothing went wrong, he didnt buy any carts from them" well let me just say FUCK YOU!!!
I am sorry I am not as rich and moneyed as some of the other members of this forum but I cant afford expensive carts right now, so screw any one who has A problem with that, plus A prduct is A product its all the same. shit can happen with any purchase, just look what happened to me. allright thats all I must go now and stop the ranting.

to reply to lord illicious and moria, I sent payment to shawn just the other day so the package is on its way. I have had nothing but good results dealing with both NGF and shawn, so for me, I dont hold one above the other. but for others who have had different results, they probably dont feel the same way, and thats cool, thats the way it should be, after all A lot of us here work hard for our money and we dont feel like getting screwed. also, yes I will deal with neo geo freak AND shawn again once I get some more money as well as ARCADE! and jeff kurtz(for A converted metal slug and A full mod for A home cart system)right now(well, up until I became broke that is I was purchasing alote of the neo games that I have from NCS cause I wanted them brand new, I just wish I was one of the lucky 3 bastards to get A U.S. sam sho 3 from them for only $100, damn)

And to pachi and prozerg, thanks for sharing your experiences . Im glad to see you had good luck with them pachi, and prozerg I am really sorry to hear you did not. its stories like yours that made me cautiose about dealing with them. I think that if what your saying is true than you have every right to feel the way you do about NGF. any way, thanks guys.

I did bid and win on one of Dion's auctions. Communication has been great, I've got the tracking number.

That's cool,

Just don't expect 70% (conservative figure) of the people here to pat you on the back or to buy your copy.

That's understandable. I picked it up for a couple of reasons...
One was price, only costed me $66.00, shipped.
Another being that, at the time, I thought I'd be building a huge collection and I might as well see if NGF really was all that bad, as they have most of the rare carts.
What a difference a few days make. Looks like my collection has come to an end, for now at least. On the Selling Forums, and on Ebay, can be found my Neo collection.

It's for a good cause that I'm selling it. Looking to buy my girlfriend a car so she can have an easier time getting around, we just had a little girl.

My purchase came off great! I got the cart in mint condition! Dion also slipped a few PSX and PS2 demos in there. No complaints from me.

When I do make my way back to the Neo scene (as in the purchasing scene), I'll most likely continue to deal with NGF, Shawn, and sellers here and on Ebay.

What's the difference, really? Isn't it really supposed to be about the games? Or is it about a little piece of paper that displays a little art and the name of the game on it?

Different inserts... Who really cares? Anybody besides the collectors that might as well get into Pokemon? hehehe

It doesn't matter where you purchase your games from (for the most part). However, most people (especially Samhain, etc.) could care less about NGF, which why
they're not expressing any 'real' interest in Core's deal with NGF. It can be summed up like this: they're upset because they were screwed by NGF (no resolution was
given to finalize their deals with Dion, Chris, and NGF), and when they see posts from people like Core (who claim to have flawless transactions with Dion) it gets their
blood boiling, because Dion is willing to make good with new buyers like Core, but not with the ones who never received their merchandise. You can see
where this is leading: Dion needs to tie all the loose ends from deals gone wrong in the past before the community can respect him. When Core wrote and said, "Hey, I got my product from NGF!" the others were thinking, "Yeah, well -- where the hell is my stuff?". It just doesn't make any sense. Surely if Dion is a changed man, he would pay what is owed to the others.

Well, it's good to touch base and know where everyone is coming from. But is this really everyone?
It's like there's some conspiracy theory about the Neo scene if you read all over this forum.
Everyone is just out to screw everyone else?
I think that if the forum is good to be used to air your dirty laundry, then it's good to tell people about good deals you had. I've done it about every seller I've purchased items from.
