The NGPC part of this forum has started a petition to playmore for the release of new games. Namely Ikari Warriors and KOF r3. SO for the sake of thi part of the neo scene. We would appreciate all the signatures we can get. Thanks.

What about a petition for new Hyper64 games? <img src="graemlins/drool2.gif" border="0" alt="[Drool 2]" />
I think chances are as good/bad for it to be successful....

I'm all for this but the NGPC is dead as a doornail, no profit in them releasing games.

If they get the orders in first, there would be profit in a limited release. I know it's asking a lot, but we can only try

Well you also have to think about the costs of making the actual game.

Neo games can make money, because they have the sales from MVS and Homecarts. A new NGPC game would sell very little, I'd say well under 1,000 copies. I don't know if that would make them money.

Although taking a canceled game that was near completion, and releasing it, may be worthwhile. But I really don't see that happening.

Yeah, but with a limited print run they would charge more to cover the costs. It could be profitable for Playmore, but yes, it is very unlikely either way <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" /> <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" />

You forget the installed user base, there is around a million NGPCs out there.

You guys in the states didn't give it a chance, but many people have them in Europe, and I’m sure there are lots to be found in the Asian territories...

When the NGPC was canned there were many titles we can guess were close to completion, and bucket loads of unused clam-cases from the European call-back.

We are hoping for too much really, but we do have to try...

Awesome. Thanks for spreading the word. AOJ. The only thing that strikes me as odd is 2 or 3 sigs that say "long live the neo" and such...but have checked no. I was sorta confused about that but I doubt it will make any difference.

Well the JAG games were totally fan made.

Try getting them to release some old code, so some fans can finish the game. :D

Good plan, I believe the NGPC just crunches C, toshiba have lodes of documentation for the TLCS chip on their site too.

I hate to code tho, any programming geeks out there?

Not really for the pocket, only in java native form; and are not finished.

I figure there's a complier and VM for NGPC, no?
I know for the GBA there's at least one ...

Hehe, I'm thousands of years far from doing my own videogame (see how much time NeoDev spend doing a pong game). :D
