I am very interested to see if they give this the KoF treatment (3d backgrounds) or the Last Blade treatment (standard 2d bg's). My guess is, it will be all 2d. With the state SNK is in, I don't imagine they would go to the extra time and development on 3d backgrounds; which is just fine with me.

btw, it's impossible to tell from the shot of the back cover, but I THINK the backgrounds are in 3D. No way to really tell til you see it in motion though I guess.

I will wait and order from NCS or VGD. Buying from BuyRite is almost as good as not buying it at all.

In answer to baller99's question, when last I checked, eBay is still banning the sale of Japanese DreamCast games. This will probably continue until no more games are being made for the system in Japan.

Hey guys - just so you know, you can e-mail ncsx and ask to be placed on a preorder list. I have done this many times over the past 2 years and they have been nice enough to place me on lists weeks before they announce the list on their site. They also send a confirmation e-mail if you ask for one. I believe that the e-mail is ncs@escape.com

Just got this email from NCSX;

Hi Rade, thanks for your e-mail. SNK has not announced a date for
Mark of the Wolves yet but the June 1 date from the other vendor
is misleading since that is their own date and not SNK's release date.

We are assuming that SNK will ship Mark of the Wolves in July or
August since we have checked the complete June schedule for DC
and it is not listed yet. Feel free to let us know if you have any questions
but we'll be glad to send you an update once a date has been confirmed.

Biomotor, ive been ordering from ncs for about 4 years now, just send them an email that you want to be on a pre order list for an upcoming game, hell I had pre ordered last blade 2 on DC I think a month before NCS even took pre orders for it on their page

Hey Neo Rosa, those picts are of the Neo Geo game, taken from a flyer of Garou. So, no pictures of the game in play yet I guess. And ign.com said when Aruze showed it at their both, they were actually showing the Neo Geo Home Cart Version (cause it said 4 credits at the bottom)... hmmm

Unfortunately, eBitch's ban on Dreamcast imports seems to be in effect still. I did a search on "Dreamcast import" and there were just two games.

Watch the auctions probably end up being prematurely killed by someone with too much time on their hands. I never report any Japanese DC auctions, because I don't support this moronic policy.

Anyway, back to Garou. I'm optimistic for a perfect port. There's enough RAM in the Dreamcast for it.

Buy-Rite? Forget about them. I'm going to preorder with NCS.

And depending on any of the extras they may add to the DC port, I may actually consider purchasing this version, even though I do have the Neo cart. It would be great to have a good anime intro, like in KOF '99 Dream Match... maybe a few bonus characters not available from the arcade?

Last "dream"... NGPC linkability to a possible upcoming Pocket Color title?

The ideas are endless... my fingers are crossed for an excellent translation. And yes, pre-order with NCS! They've done well with me for over 3 years, and always get my orders out on time!

and if they add extra characters it might cause a disturbance in the masterful balance of the characters already there.
