Fake Neo Carts

I am new to the neo geo scene. I have heard some things about copied neo geo home carts. How can you tell a fake from a real SNK cart?

I think you mean from MVS to homesystem converted carts. Well, inside the card are some more wires and outside it hasn't got a original insert.

There are such a thing as bootleg carts. you can usually tell by their low quality casings, no inserts (or cheap ones), or sometimes just the boards hooked up by thin plastic (I've only seen one of those, but just for your info).

Be careful who you buy from. If you spend some time on these fourms, you'll quickly find out who not to buy from. Most everyone on this fourm will say to steer clear of Neo-Geo Freak (including myself). I'm not going to go into why, just look at some of the older fourms and you'll see.
