A few of us quake players on the irc.enterthegame.com IRC server have a fighting games channel #fightinggames. We recently put together a fighting game tournament played online via Kaillera.
In our first tourney, we played SF2CE simply because it was a game that pretty much everyone was familiar with, but we have a poll up for what the next game will be. Make sure to read all the disclaimers, as there are legal issues whenever roms/emulators are involved. I personally own many, many fighting game arcade boards, but I'm not going to police everyone else. I'm simply organizing the tournament.
