Why can't you buy these cases robert? Big Bear ships internationally, so thats not the problem . . . is it the method of payment, or shipping costs? I don't understand . . .

I need over 50, but I can't drop $500 this month on cases. I wanted to buy 10 or so a month for the next few months... but this run may be it... I am not going to be happy with just 10 cases, so... I didn't buy any

If I had the spare cash right now, I would buy all their remaining stock (If only to re-sell it at cost later) just to insure that more were made in the future. Unfortunately, due to taxes, auto repair bills, and recent medical bills, I will probably not be able to buy any for some time.

Perhaps is we could get a guarantee that another run would be made, Shawn could pick them up wholesale for the NeoGeoStore? Just throwing out ideas here. If these cases do not go over well, for whatever reason, it is doubtful any more will be made, ever.

A good amount remain as of now.I will be auctioning off a smaller amount in the future and you can hit me up on e-mail.
I am available for orders beyond eBay right now.
What a difference a case makes!!
This type of setup(MVS) leaves no excuses where $ is concerned now that the casing has been thrown into the mix because I don't know how many times I've read where people constantly complained about MVS not having cases or the pretty artwork.
The ball is in your hands now.
Dont drop it.

Thankyou-BB

C'mon guys! I bought 20 this time and will buy more once I recover. Hey, Bear, I will probably need another 20, but will more than likely not buy them all at once. Have no fear. There's NO CHANCE that you are going to get "stuck" with these things. Every single MVS game I buy or will buy will be covered by these babies!

Well I bought 30 cases, so I've done all I can to support Big Bear for his fantastic work on this new product. It just seems to me that people have been talking about wanting this kind of product for YEARS, demand seemed to be very high, and then when someone actually steps up and provides the product, people don't support it. Thats disappointing, and I just hope that people understand that without enough support, there won't be more cases made for future demand . . . and there WILL be future demand for them, you can be sure of that.

Especially now, with the !arcade! MVS adapter available, MVS games are now viable replacements for home carts. A hell of a lot cheaper, and if you get the artwork with them, they can look even better . . . especially in these cool new cases!!

In my opinion, the reason that more of the cases have not sold is the price per case. Spending $10 on a case for a $10-15 game seems ridiculous. If you choose not to case your cheap games, then the effect is lost. It's a catch 22.

In future runs, why not find out how many you would have to have made to get them down to $5? You could then have pre-orders, so that you have the cash up-front to finance the larger run.

Yoshi: I agree with you 100%. That is what I said a while ago. I can't see spending the money on a cart that is even $20- $30. If we could find a way to minimize the cost it would be a bit better.

Actually, $10 a case for this kind of high quality item is a great deal. Back in the day when SNK-USA carried extra home cart cases with the snap lock clasp, they charged $6 each for them. And the ones I bought from them were not mint by any means, had nicks and scratches in them as if there were abused in shipping.

So $10 per case for these nice high quality ones from Big Bear is a GREAT DEAL, especially when you consider that his big red and white cases will fit EITHER home carts OR MVS carts, AND they have sleeves for MVS inserts OR the home cart insert!!! There's really no excuse for not buying up TONS of these things, they cover many different needs!!

So, BUY THEM NOW AND SHOW YOUR SUPPORT, and YES THAT MEANS YOU TOO NRUVA!!!

I have to agree that $10 is too much for these cases. I'm not trying to be critical, but I won't pay $10 for what is realistically a $1 piece of plastic and vinyl. Plus, the seller seems to be pushing these as a way to make your MVS carts more valuable. To me, it doesn't add value since if you're really into MVS collecting as opposed to playing, you just look for complete boxed MVS kits rather than loose carts. If people want to buy them for storage purposes, that's cool but I hate to think about what's gonna happen on Ebay when people start cutting and pasting their own boxes together and passing them off as "rare" prototype home versions or something like that.

Actually I've love to have about 30 but I DON'T have $300! Plus if I did, I'd be using it to finance either KOF2k or MS3. If they were half the price I'd really jump on them then. I can swallow $150 a LOT easier than $300, especially for something that's basically just storage. I'd feel bad about only getting a few because then I'd have carts that are sitting around needing cases. Maybe when my tax return comes back I can afford such luxuries. But then I'll have to find a place to store the huge things! UGH!

I want to have all of my carts in the boxes not just some of them, this means buying 100+ which i just don't have the money for. If I were going to spend that much money I would buy a couple cabinets and arcade games for that price.

EXACTLY. I bought 10 cases and it's costing me $100. Here's what I'm saying.....the more you buy....the better the deal. you know like.....

buy 1 at $9.99
or
buy 5 at $45
or
buy 10 at $90
and so on....so there is a reason to buy more. If you get the same deal as someone who buys 1 and you buy 100...isn't that a little unfair? Even free shipping on orders 10 or more would help.....see where I'm going with this.....just some tips to help you move them better....

Bigbear has heard your CRIES and took them to the round table for
discussion. After hours and hours of debate, I feel I am VICTORIOUS
in representing you and your cries and present the following SLASHED prices
for you!!!
50 CASES FOR ONLY $449.00USD. That's a whopping $50.00USD off!!!
100 CASES FOR ONLY $799.99USD, That's an EARTH SHATTERING $200.00USD
off!!!

QUANTITIES ARE LIMITED!
GET THEM WHILE THEY LAST!!
DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS OPPORTUNITY TO GET "The Ultimate Design" MVS
CASES!!!

Don't drag this on!! Get them all in one shot and you don't have to worry about it anymore...get in on this with a friend like two bbs users have already done!!!
It's a SIN not to spend a fraction of that money you saved on MVS carts like Real Bout 2,RBS,RBFF,KOF 94-98
If your tired of your carts piled up in a corner or hidden away somehwere, now is the time to buy all you're going to buy and be done with it!!
Build a COOL Library now!
PEOPLE!! The MVS case has'nt existed for 11 years??? One would have to expect to play 'CATCH UP' with the storing your carts. After you catch up on housing all your carts.Price really becomes a non-factor as I've witnessed marquees go for more than $9.99.Make your own inserts and manuals, spend the 9.99 on a 'CUSTOM-MADE' case instead! Get over that psychological hump.
A BIG THANKYOU goes out to all those who practice what they preach!!
I respect all the comments made.I'm not trying to 'PUSH' anything.I am just trying to 'FILL' a need that's been ongoing since day one.
Now is the time to take advantage of this opportunity and move forward or wait 11 more years!!
This limited run will increases your MVS cart's value,no doubt!

Thats a great deal, very fair to offer that kind of discount Big Bear!! Fellow MVS collectors, you should all step up and support BB by buying these great cases!! The price is VERY fair, the quality looks to be EXCELLENT, and we should all encourage future production of these great cases!!

I upped my quantity already . . . and I have plenty of MVS carts that will soon have a comfortable home!!

...sorry I have to disagree on this one. I like what BB has done....but no one even bought that many in the auciton!!! I would have bought 20 if I got a bulk discount, but for the most part...MVS buyer are in this so they don't spend THAT much......You should go back to your board and tell them that they would do better if they offer discounts at a little lesser of a rate. Come on I know there are more than just ME who think this....I still want to let you know though that I am glad that you did support the Neo with producing these MVS cases....I just think there could be a better deal to make cheap MVS buyers buy more..........

Well I agree with you, djbomberman. BB, if you could make a deal on the level of, like, lets say, 10 cases for 80US (79,99
biggrin.gif
), the people with less stash could purchase larger quantitys, more customers and in the end more money for you to start new MVS case projects. I would love to download or get an insert made for my new MVS cases. They would look sooo goood. Finally, Big respect and thanks Big Bear for you're effort. I know that I will return with little bigger order next time. I just have to balance my gaming budget. There is just too many things I want at the same time..
