Okay, I finally bought myself a NEO GEO system. This is the one I bought <a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1325329633&r=0&t=0&showTutorial=0&ed=1011714862&indexURL=0&rd=1" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1325329633&r=0&t=0&showTutorial=0&ed=1011714862&indexURL=0&rd=1</a>

Seeing as this is the Jap version, I am wondering if any of you could tell me if I will be needing anything special seeing as I live here in the US??? It comes with the ac adapter and av cables. My question is whether or not the AC adapter will be just fine for operation here in the US?

The reason for this post is because I want to be able to simply plug everything in and start playing once the system arrives! So, if there is anything else I need outside of what I am getting in the deal listed above, can you guys let me know? If you want to see everything I got just visit the link I posted above! I am pretty sure I got a good deal!

Well, I own a Japanese PlayStation 2 and I use a Step Up/Step Down converter to prevent the system from heating. In Japan, the power is 100v while here in the U.S is 120v. If you have a 110v outlet then your fine. I use my PS2 with a 100v-110v and it doesn't heat even if I play for HOURS :D . If you have a 110v outlet then your fine.

Oh and Congratulations :) for getting a Neo-Geo. I hope you enjoy it.

You'll need a game cartridge to put in it. <img src="graemlins/loco.gif" border="0" alt="[Loco]" />

You need nothing else. The power supply will convert AC into DC for use with all Neo Geo system. Also the game will determine the displayed language. Enjoy it, the system looks good and email me if you need some common games.

Yes, I am looking VERY much forward to getting this system!!! I already have a few games. I have been playing NEO GEO games using MAME for a couple weeks now trying to see what games I liked. There are a LOT of NEO GEO games I LOVE. Playing the games using MAME just wasn't cutting it. I needed to have the REAL thing!!! Still, it is a cool thing to have the option to actually TRY before I BUY! Especially with how expensive the games are compared to current consoles of today. Anyhow, thanks for responding people!
