You do realize that this is a roundabout way for the person to say that he is NOT a mad Rugal dictator type. That's why no one has been banned from here, there's been no censorship of ANYTHING, etc.

I think this is the problem though, see I tend to support whoever the mod/administrative staff of a given board it, I don't care who it is. I mean if I logged on here and DSD was suddenly an Admin I would support him just as much, I honestly mean that.

The reason I do that is because it's better in the long run than having any real board alliegance. There's plenty of people from both ON and NG that I either like or dislike, but I never attempt to group either one together because in the long run it's destructive for the board itself.

Forgive me if I am a little behind with the new rules guys, I haven't had a lot time to catch up on alot of this stuff (it moves a light speed afterall...)

I'll admit that I haven't read all the posts in the last few days, but are the mods gonna start deleting threads if it's not to their liking?

And then tell longtime established board members how they should post?

I don't mind the strife between the new and old members, in fact, I think it's kinda entertaining.

But DELETING posts?

That ruins much of what made this board cool in the first place.

I aint stirring the pot, I was asking ppls opinions. Im so glad everyone on this site cared so much they gave them. If you guys are too lazy too post a reply sayin yes or no then I guess you guys deserve the Gaming forum since you care more.

I didnt post it in the suggestions cuz of 2 things. The first is I had originally posted that question in the Gaming Area, the second being you'd think the people that care would see it in the gaming area not suggestion.

EDIT: Oh yeah rasa youd support whoevers mod? thats pretty dumb what if shawn in a fit of drunken madness askedsome Nazi control freak to be admin. Youd stilll support him, that makes no sense. You suppoprt what agrees with your sense of right and wrong.

Fran, I agree that this should stay in News & Rumors because I want to make this point:

Don't a (really) dead horse.

The changes that were going to take place have already, and it really hasn't changed much of anything -other than we now have new members and more forums. While the Gaming forum was heinously put under new rules (my one caveat), there really wasn't too much that was awful. All of you guys are still here. The board has more or less returned to normal.

We all know who the original NGers are, but now we've evolved as a club/forum/whatever.

I think the pluses way out number the minuses on this one.

Free speech will continue, as it always has (especially in forums where I mod -and I still argue that moving something isn't a violation, but a clarification -my job is to keep things flowing smoothly).

. The only change that's happened is that there's a few more individual forums and as a result mods will move threads to their respective forums with more regularity.

Shuuchan: Shawn runs and pays for this site and is the only person with the power to betsow the Administrator rank onto any one who is registered with this board. So yes, if a Nazi control freak was given Moderator status I would still support Shawn's decision because while Shawn is just one person, he is the one person who has the final say in what goes on in this site.

Also, the people that care would be checking the Suggestions forum. The people checking the Gaming forum most likely care about Gaming
