the denkegi chart was updated today at magic-box and the first 3 titles in your list weren't there (2 pokimon game and unlimited saga were at the top)

if this how KOF 2001 is doing on DC , I'm wondering what will it do on PS2 .

.......... uh I was about to post something about KOF 2001 on PS2 . what the hell is the release date ? playmore has not said anything about it since it was annouced . even MS3 had a release date . hope it doesn't come very late cause I can't wait

Go KOF 2001!

I'm still not sure whether to buy the MVS Cart when it gets way cheaper, or go for the DC Port......

Still no release date on the Japanese site. It's about five slots down on the planned release list, so it may take awhile.

It's two slots down from SNK vs CAPCOM. As a Neo owner, I hope that gets out first!

The chart is from the daily yahoo game charts (japan)
That the first three games aren't listed in the new dengeki charts is quite logic. The dengeki charts will be updated once per week. The current dengeki chart is from 12/16 - 12/22. KOF2k1 and the other two games were released on 12/26. Next week you will see the exact figures and position of the sales.

I thought it would be something tricky with this list. But the game must be selling well to be on the list, right?

It´s a neo-convert made for a "dead" system, that it even shows in a list is incredible imho.

KOF2000 DC was also on the 3rd position on release day in this charts. Ikaruga even on the 2nd position.

You remember how LONG KoF 2000 took to arrive on the PS2? Well KoF 2001 might end up going that same root as KoF 2000.

Fack you Playmore. <img src="graemlins/veryangry.gif" border="0" alt="[Very Angry]" />

Man this is only but good news for SNK. You know if they keep this up they just might have a chance down the track to make games for other consoles aswell and get a Name world wide. That way they could make a new Neo Geo console! Oh the possabilities! :D

To be quite honest with you, I wouldn't mind if there were more Dreamcast ports of Neo Geo games if they sell. In Japan, as long as a game is good and appeals to the audience, they will buy it. That's why you can still make games for a supposed "dead system" and it still sells like hot cakes in Japan. Whereas here in the states, the main reason why it wouldn't be bought is because it was made for the Dreamcast and not the X-Box, Gamecube or PS2 that they support now. They feel as if it's "too much" to play a system that they were all screaming about only 2 years ago.

In fact, I think it would be cool if Playmore somewhat "adopted" the Dreamcast as its official home machine. That way, they could focus on making more games without having to deal with the hardware, and keep bringing games to the masses. It will give the illusion that they DO have a new home console, without having to make one. Then, they could possibly use the NGPC as some fancy VMU Unit that also has the ability to play individual games, and can be used to unlock special parts to their Dreamcast counterparts just like in CvS or KOF.

The possibilities are endless... and could really favor the home market. I STILL use my Dreamcast up to this day, and would certainly continue to do so if something like this would happen. Most US gamers who are REALLY into the Neo Geo are usually into imported games anyhow, so people in the states (like me) who would want to get a port instead of a home cart or MVS could still get Neo Geo games on a good, viable platform. More power to 'em.! :)

Oh god I only want my NGH carts to make money and Playmore to only make games for that. DC/PS2 users don't have the right to play neo games cause they suck[/sarcasm]

If playmore did this there would definately be more sucess in there business. Also If they do adopt the DC they might stop using old NG technology for their games. Then They could bring out KOF's with very nice sprites, backrounds, music. And an overall more deep game. I'm seeing the DC being used as Playmore's gate way to the top. If they play their cards right they may be up their with other Giant companies like Capcom and Square. Maybe thats going a bit far but we can always hope.
