General concesous appears to be that the price guides on this site, as maintained by Simone, aka FTL, are more accurate than they've ever been.
When you first mooted your article I was under the impression that values would be placed in pounds sterling and not US $. So for that I apologise. If it had been me I would also have chosen US $.
However, as far as values go you would have been better asking Simone or just quoting straight from the guide. Indeed do you not think Shawn is going to across as a bit of a hypocrite if he says MS (as an example only) is worth $2,200 but his own price guide says it's worth $1,500 - $1,800? In fact some prices are way out - the worst example probably being the real bout series (Neo Store - Price Guide comparisons).
I think I did say at one point that you're probably best avoiding talking about values if posible... and if I didn't - then why NOT!!??

The piece, as you will see, is the first in a series examining the various collectors markets around the videogaming globe. Price inclusion was in my commission- I have no power over that. Besides- its very interesting to the reader. You can hardly talk about kizuna without mentioning figures as its the figures that make it interesting.
The prices listed were put in dollars (something I was advised to do by members here- and unadvised to do by my superiors- that's how much i care). they are all taken direct from the price guide here- with a few tweaks from Shawn and Simone to bring them bang up to date.
Having not read the article it would be a shame to think that you've only interviewed Shawn, when other comunity members such as Simone, Trieuminator, and Neo Bomber Man could have added more depth to the proceedings.

I have 3000 words to cover the history of Snk, the present siuation with Playmore, the future of the company, the people behind the games, an overview of the collectors scene, The games that are pertinent to the collectors scene and in depth interview with one of the main players in the collectors scene and a list with information on the most collectable titles.
if I could have inerviewed everyone I would have- but space doesn't allow it. Besides- lots of people from within the scene daying basically the same things as Shawn would only be interesting to us- not the 97% of edge readership who know nothing of the neo until now.
