North Texas Neo-Geo Gaming Party Thing!

I remember a while back that some of the guys in North Texas wanted to do a tourney or get-together on Labor Day. Are you guys still up for it? Did we decide on where it's to be held. Who's going to show up? We need to plan this out, so it doesn't end up like that "other" Texas tourney.

In my opinion these tourneys just don't work.
There is not enough people in the neo scene as is to accomadate such a thing.
That and the fact of location, and a set date.
I once posted about a LA get together and it did not receive enough support to make it a decently large event.
So its best to find a location of which can be easily reached by the majority of this board. (LOL probably is good ole texas)
I would not be able to personally make this event.


1) Located where I am not.

2) How many people will appear.

3) Ultimatems for the appearance in the first place.

4) Planning the event at a cade etc.

Just my thoughts, as the neo community is TINY and cult based.

It's pretty damn scary when their was recently an Atari Jaguar-fest and almost 90 people showed up...

I noticed they had quite a few sponsors. Maybe thats what a Neo-tourney needs to make it work. I dont know...
