King of Fighters on GBA A little more info

IGN doesnt have a talent for getting characters names right do they? Kim Kaffan,Pao, Choi Bonge. I got a laugh out of it though.

i heard that the time line is between kof 98 and 99,so maybe there would be more fighters than 99,plus the borrowed backgrounds from kof evo. on dc make this one awesome.i usually dismiss handheld fighting games,well,not anymore <IMG SRC="smilies/glee.gif" border="0">

It'll be good as long as it doesn;t use the SNK Vs Capcom engine. Not that that was bad, i love the game, but it would be nice to actually use the KOF controls, and engine. Considering it says that the story takes place between 97 and 99, I'd say that its trying to fill in the 98 storyline gap. What interests me though if its not filling in that gap, then it can't be a KOF tourtament because there is only one held every year. This is probably going to be some sort of side story not filling in for KOF98, but what I don't understand is how can it used the backgrounds from KOF 99 considering that those actually go with the story of the game. The NEST group cannot be involved in this part of the story, because they weren't known until 99, so obviously you cant have the backgrounds from where you fight Krizalid, because it wouldn't make sense for you to be there.
