MS3 NCS update

I just spoke to NCS and they have over 220 pre orders for MS3 home cart so far.

Damn, I was hoping there would be more of a response than that. <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0"> Come on people, if you want MS3, pre-order one! They do not ask for payment until it actually becomes available, so no need to worry about your funds being locked up in something that may or may not happen.

I agree Biomotor, there should be more preorders. Although you should keep in mind that this is only one store, and others will get the game as well (Japan Video Games, BuyWrong, VGD, etc.).

I preordered the game, even though I already have a copy. Actually, I had two (both bought at the original lauch), sold one, then preordered one again from NCS, to show my support. Crazy, eh? <IMG SRC="smilies/loco.gif" border="0">

I'm just trying to show my support for this awesome game, and hoping that someday SNK or a third party ports it over to a major console. Not the DC I guess <IMG SRC="smilies/mad.gif" border="0"> but any home port would be better than none at all.

Hmm 221 preorders? Didnt they say that they only needed each place to order 36 games each if it was to be re-released? well id say thats pretty damn good! Things are looking good for the re-release!

I will call ncs tomorrow and explain my situation. Hopefully if this run of carts goes well they will do a rerun of Garou.

No chance, the game is not scheduled to be released for a few more months. Pre-order now people, you have a couple of months to save up the money if need be.

The record for gross sales at NCS is King Of Fighters 2000 home cart : 473 copies at $332 each . I think a lot of people will buy MS3 once it is physically available in early September but who knows how many copies will be left by then ? Other online retailers may not get access to large numbers of MS3 ...then I can imagine a huge scramble for the remaining buffer stock at NCS .

For a neo-geo homecart PREORDER I think 220 is a close to amazing number.

Since 9.5 out of 10 people in the USA don't even know what a neo cart is.

I really think it is every neo gamer's (who has the means) duty to pre-order this cart even if they have it. I recently bought MS3 and I still pre-ordered the game. Why, because I want more re-releases of Neo games!!! Let's go people <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

RyoGeo, did you preorder a copy from Video Connection? Cost will be $295 each, which is low for brand new MVS kits, and low for this game considering its rarity and quality. It is possible that the price will go down in the future, depends on how many SNK re-manufactures. If there are a lot of them on the market, it will fall pretty quickly . . . <IMG SRC="smilies/eek2.gif" border="0">
