So what hardware does snk chos and samurai shodown 0 run on

I was searching around and stumbled onto a pic of a snk chos pcb board, it wasn't a mvs cartridge but instead was a pcb board, is samurai 0 run on the same hardware, was the mvs retired?

They both run on MVS hardware, same as all of the other Neo games. It's not a cart for piracy issues.

This may have been posted before but I was just curious if the new MVS format that SVC is on will plug straight into my 6 slot MVS board or would I need something different?

If your JAMMA harness is good to go with a 6-slot it is good to go with a Chaos PCB.

I believe it's straight jamma(plus 4th button), not the slightly re-arranged jamma of the multi-slots. It should plug in and run fine in the cab wired for your six-slot, but it may have stereo problems.
