Perhaps one of the roaches from the nest has entered his brain through one of his ears. SF is a great series, no question. But to 'dis the Neo Geo is just too insane for words.

Well, he did say he likes button mashing. Button mashers generally do not like Neo-Geo games where skill is involved. <IMG SRC="smilies/tongue.gif" border="0"> He probably likes Killer Instinct a lot, though. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Really? I was like 14 when I first played that game, and I didn't have a clue on how to do any moves, and I always button mashed and got my ass kicked.

I did get really good at the game though, since I played that machine so much back when it was out.

Also after getting good, the button mashers got trampled when they played me.

There is one style of fighting games I hate
the most and thats button mashers(Tekken,Mortal Kombat,which are the extremely difficult fighting games compared to Street Fighter/Old School style). However
since I stayed away from those games ,I tend to lose a lot against people who are good at button mashers like Tekken when I play CVS,because all of them are really fast at moving their fingers from button to button when doing combos and rush downs .Even before the match starts I have seen opponents looking down at the buttons and
pressing them really fast(practicing their combos). What I don't understand is how Tekken players can take their style of gameplay and apply it to CVS? Even though CVS is Old School(easy style of game play),was I supposed to be good at those difficult games in order to be a pro at CVS? I thought you would just need to be good at KOF and Street Fighter 2 to be good at CVS.

All I have to say to him is: ANTA BAKA!?!

I like the Street Fighter series as much as the next guy, but SNK rules all! Hell, SNK doesn't repackage the same game 20+ times and calls it a franchise like Capcom does. No one makes any games even close to the calibur of KOF, SS, AoF, and MotW! <IMG SRC="smilies/glee.gif" border="0">
