Newman Athletics?

A guy at work swears he remembers a Neo-Geo game called Newman Athletics, which was basically Track and Field with superheroes. The name rings a bell, but I can't find information on it anywhere. Anyone got any ideas?

Never heard of it. Its not even on the rather comprehensive www.klov.com

If the game does exist, its near certain that it wasn't on Neo Geo on any format.
