Looks nice. Looks very nice! Now, I can't wait to get this game (just gotta wait until Christmas morning)!

I believe that CD is a VCD containing a whole bunch of combos and clips from KOF 2002 (included with the guide, located on the left). It was a Taiwan exclusive product, so I doubt it's included with the game.

Jeesus! That cart has more pink on it than a copy of 'Barbie goes shopping'

I guess its too much to hope for a non-pink english version. :rolleyes:

Its not really pink its a kinda light purple more than pink...i think it looks good, Black and Purple always looks good.....

Well, naturally I don't have the thing in my hands, so I can't really give it a fair evaluation, but I think the insert looks pretty good. Maybe I'm just easily pleased :) . I mean, it definitely could've been worse.

I just wish they stop putting K' on the cover :( . I'm really getting sick of seeing him. There are so many other great characters that haven't been on the cover yet. Why not have a new character put on the cover every game? Like Mai, King, Ryo, etc etc.

Yeah, I was just thinking the same thing. I loved the 'group' style inserts used for '97 and '98. They've been pimping 'K since '99 now and I don't even like the fucking character. I'd prefer they went back to pimping Kyo like they did back in '95 and '96 than continue using 'K.

Otherwise it's a nice insert. I prefer it to KoF 2001's insert, but it's not as nice as Rage of the Dragons. Any insert obviously destroys the awful MS4 insert.

But, yeah time to change 'K. Anyway, I thought character wise the main rivalry was between Kyo and Iori and apart from '99 they were always the key characters to the series? 'K is just a knob.

... More importantly.... SHAWN WHEN ARE YOU SHIPPING OUT???

Hey, I like K as much as the next guy, but enough already. He hasn't done anything in the last few episodes anyhow. KOF 97 and 98 still are the best since they show a lot of people.

And again, anyone know if this means stores will ship them sooner???

Gotta agree, I hate the color. I recall seeing a wallpaper K (I think maybe it was even made by a member here) which was this same picture but it was orange. Looked worlds better than this standard pink crap.

I _pray_ that this time around Shawn told them to fix the english inserts and they actually listened.. we'll see..

Well, I hope Shawn is. The game will take at least 3 working days to get to England from the USA, so if he can't dispatch it before the end of next week there's no chance I'll recieve it before Christmas day :(

Well, the 'pink' might be a bit contreversial, but at least they avoided using this art work:

I nearly died when I first saw that artwork being used in initial promo material <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" />

Still, when are Playmore going back to the ORIGINAL King of Fighters logo, last seen in KoF '98???

Otaku.com is in Japan, so it's only natural they'd have it earlier than Shawn, right? If they have it today (the 14th that is), if Playmore uses Express mail to ship them to Shawn (I honestly have no clue how it works or whether they would use UPS, postal service or Fed Ex or something else) and let's say they shipped to Otaku at the same time it shipped to the <a href="http://www.neostore.com" target="_blank">Neo Store</a>, say, the 12th/13th, it shouldn't put the game on Shawn's door any earlier than Tuesday of next week, Thursday at the latest.

The 19th sounds like a fair bet for shipping to me from the Neo Store, but then again, I don't own the Neo Store.

[edit] D'oh! My mistake, this isn't the Otaku.com I thought it was... but the data should be relevant to the situation, but I would expect it to be at Shawn's door even earlier now, Monday at this point.
