New King of Fighters 2002 mook

I was out shopping yesterday when I passed by the arcade book/magazine section of the store I was in, and what do I see, but loads of copies of a KoF 2002 mook. <a href="http://www.geocities.com/intergalacticpirate/stuff/" target="_blank">http://www.geocities.com/intergalacticpirate/stuff/</a>

Only 1380 yen and the latest from the series of Enterbrain mooks by Arcadia Extra (vol. 11 this is).

Once I actually open it up I can offer some impressions on it. Back to work for now though.

No, just posting about it. I had no idea one was in the works. I was quite hoping for it, just did not know anything about it, so imagine my joy (as I LOOOOOOOOVE this game) when I saw a couple dozen of these things in the store yesterday.

Can't say -I never bought the 2001 mook. They have it in the store but you see, I waste too much money on prize game machines, so I always think 'maybe another day'....

Picked up a copy from a bookstore in town two days ago. Lots of detailed diagrams for all the moves, plus character poses, colour schemes, stage backgrounds, winning poses with certain characters, special intros for certain characters etc.

Horrible pink cover though (Ukyo, I know I know, pink is dynamic...)

I don't have KOF2002 yet (no one does!) but I was using it with KOF2001 last night. I learned how to do a few moves I never even knew existed...

Say what you will, but I like the cover a lot! I think the actual pic is pretty badass, and I love the slogan: "Tribute to the Battle Addict". How cool is that?

The illustration isn't so bad, and the slogan, 'Tribute to the Battle Addict' is pretty cool, but I'm just not into these monochrome pastel colour schemes.

Interestingly enough, it's Kyo and Iori on the front and K' and Kula on the back. I expected it to be the other way round...

I kinda thought Kyo and Iori were old news now...

Got my mook in mail this morning!

It's a really cool book and the cover is very nice, sort of a very pale red... definitly not pink!

This game looks so bloody cool, I really can't wait to get my hands on the home cart. looks like there's plenty of old favourites squirreled away in the backgrounds to - I won't give any away but many famous characters from Real Bout, AoF and past KoF's can be seen in the backgrounds cheering you on! <img src="graemlins/glee.gif" border="0" alt="[Glee]" />
