Thats because TVs have an auto center function, most TVs cut off so much on each side of the square. How to solve this? Buy a RGB monitor, or game on a VGA monitor.

Or find a TV with controls for screen size.

the picture is shifted to the left, that's actually normal via RGB connection, happens here with neogeo, psx, saturn etc too. check if your TV has an option to shift the picture.

Is your TV a Daewoo? I had a Daewoo for a while, and it shifted about 2 inches to the right. The problem maybe with the TV.

Yeah, this happens to me through RGB scart. In fact, when i watch digital TV on the TV downstairs, it shifts the picture far enough to the left that the "Sky One" logo is obscured <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> On my Sony TV upstairs it is fine though (TV downstairs is a philips).

It's good that games these days usually have the option to move the picture...
