Just a friendly reminder to those who are not going to Otakon, that The Classic Gaming Expo is going to be held at the Plaza Hotel and Casino at downtown, Las Vegas on August 9th and 10th. Check it out and hope to see some forum members there! Oh!, and to avoid anymore drama, like last year, stay away from the Neo-Geo Freaks's "Booth". :D

And no, its not because of what happend last year, i just cant get to las vegas.

Can someone give a brief synopsis of what happened last year? I heard Dion got in a fist-fight with someone. Is that true?

Dion went to shake my hand, then grabbed me and held my head to the table.
As they where going to take a picture, i covered my face with my hand, dion procceded to grab my hand and move it away from my face, to insure my face getting into the picture.

He whispered stuff in my ear, something like.. "Cmon, call me a pussy"

Kinda wierd if you ask me.
And oh yea, i was 16 years old at the time.

Yes, there is a picture of this incident, and no, charges were not pressed.

There is a substantial size difference between these two individuals.

Mr. Dakis (30ish) is, very apparently, a supplement taking gym bunny.

Mr. "Mooky" (16 at the time), is a nice-guy who isn't a real physical beast.

So no. Actually, our late member Jigen was a witness to the event, as I recall.

I coulnt really do anything.
And yes, jigen was right next to me at the time.
I got to laugh about it with him after it happened.

Well, our local news did a little story on CGE. Unforunately, the sight of Dion's giant mug with the words "SNK" right above him made me ill, so I didn't watch the rest of it.

That guy has got some major balls to continue doing shows there. Why the CGE execs let him there as well, especially now that he's been officially sued by SNK, is beyond me.

And where is the proof that they "showed" WOTF? REAL proof? So far, they've never proven anything about their supposed "rare protos". oh_no

Anyway, they're the laughingstock of this hobby, so it really doesn't matter what they showed; plus, CGE is a joke, as everyone knows Otakon was the place to be this year for Neo Geo fans. :)
