For those of you who can get it, check out the Extended Play Holiday Guide. When they come back from commercials, right before they start their picks for the X-Box, you'll see Adam Sessler standing in front of a KoF 2000 MVS machine!

Sure, it's only on for a few seconds, but hey... anytime the Neo is shown on TV is a pretty big event! ;)

Oh, BTW, if you do watch it, stick around for the end credits - they're hilarious (you've got to check out the guy in the home-made Shinobi outfit :D )

That's pretty cool. It's a shame Extended Play has so many dumbass, brainless reviewers that it's not worth watching for anything else. :D

Actually I have found their reviews to be very informtive and generally true , at least in my tastes.

Was this episode taped at the Metreon ?

If it was the neo cab is new , that place really blows ass ! its one huge commercial for sony.

Im guessing the episode you saw was at golfland in Redwood city , they have a few neo cabs there.

I have seen neo geo games reviews on a french video games channel, but It was a kind of nostalgic review. But the most important part is that we speak about neo on TV.

No it was at Metreon, Sony's own propriatary arcade. But from the looks of it, it was a Candy machine w/ KOF2k on it.

It was a good show, had reccomendations for all game consoles, and there were good games in each catagory.

I noticed Adam standing in front of the Neo cab also, too bad they never review any Neo stuff, I think that a small story on the still alive Neo scene would make for an entertaining program. Perhaps a proper 2d tribute, you would have too include the Neo then! <img src="graemlins/glee.gif" border="0" alt="[Glee]" />

venomous,

I agree with that. Either a magazine or maybe even og G4 Television should do some kind of tribute to 2D and other older games that have paved the way for the newer titles.

yea, i have seen it before.
and it is taped at metreon, i went there a few months ago, and played that cab.
BTW, its a really bad arcade.
Cept the kof2000, SvC2, and MvC2.

EDIT: J, its not a candycab, its a special futurestic looking cab, that metreon has for all their games.
