What's up all. New to Neo and the website for about four weeks now. Can't wait to start playin' my system when it arrives back from JMKurtz place. So, as the title indicates, are there any players in New York City? Just wondering since I live here and figured there must be few. Let me know...

Yep, I'm from NYC! Don't have a chance to get to the arcades too often- work schedule kills most of my time! But now that I have a neo candy at home things are looking up!

Hey what's up endtrans? Welcome to the Forum. Yes I am proud to be born and raised in the capital of the world that is New York City.
We should all get together one day and have us a little NYC tournamnet. The winner (me) should get a home cart system

By the way

I just finished playing some Sen Goku 3 Uptown on 86th st. off of Lex. I was pretty shocked to see it at this pool hall I hang out at. They replaced KOF 2000 with it. Not the smartest move. But nobody wanted to play KOF there because the dip switches were fucked up and the new joystick was fucked up (It was a dedicated KOF 2000 one slot delux with a big ass marquee and speakers.

Anyway back to the subject at hand It's not a bad game all in all. There's not enough enemies though I counted three in the 3 stages I played (I beat Japan and China and played some of Italy) I'm not including the sub boss and boss. I beat two levels with only 50 cents not bad huh? It's very SNK in the way you have 3 special moves per a character besides slash, punch, throw (as in shoulder throw or suplex), throw ninja stars/bombs. Of course there's also dash and jump attacks. The game is more complicated then most Capcom side scrolling beat em ups minus Dungeons and Dragons 1 and 2.
I can only see myslef playing it the whole way through once or twice by myself. It's really for two players.

Thanks guys for all the replys. Some commentary:
BrooklynSkin had a good idea. Some day in the future we should set up a tournamnet and thanks for the tip about Sen Goku 3. I live up there on the West side so easy access for me

yo im from Harlem. I got to China Town Fair every Saturday. The thing is though, im so outta pratice(mom took system away) that im garbage at the moment. Yet i lose with pride. I used to go to 86 and Lex, but their KOF 2000 had fucked up joysticks and had it on single instead of team. I havent been the recently so.........but there is a place on 145 and amsterdamn that has a perfectly working KOF 2000 for 25 cents( yeah!!). so how am i going to meet some of yall for a fight?!?
