I liked them, especially Nadia. It sure beats playing with the same old character over and over and over again.Nesagwa:
Dont tell me they kept in those stupid Metal Slug 4 characters.
Get a NGPC and the two slugs for that, there is really little chance this title will be as good as those.alec:
the new character looks kinda stupid, but if i can carry metal slug in my pocket and play it anywhere, it'll be cool, especially since arcades aren't as abundant as they once were.
The color scheme has got to change, it looks like stool right now.BlackSpy:

At least SOMEONE around here has a little common sense... For fucks sake you guys want to listen to yourselves bitch and whine. It's a new Metal Slug for God's sake! The way some of you guys are talking, it's like you're desperately hoping it will be shit, so's you can all stroke your chins whilst saying I-told-you-so, and mumbling to anyone that gives a shit about how the NGPC was a better machine than the GBA anyways. Get off the SNK fanboy trip - the NGPC was an underpowered crappy machine that wasn't really worthy of the Neo-Geo tag, and Metal Slug 1st mission (haven't got the second, so I can't comment) was nothing more than an average 2D platformy shmup that didn't really play like the original and would've made for an average C64 budget game 15 years ago. Sure - perhaps the GBA version won't play similarily either - but if nothing else, it looks a lot better than the NGPC. Rant over. It's just a single low quality screen from a Game Boy Advance game. And why can't it be better than the NGPC ones? I don't get you people! I'm just happy that it's going to come out and hoping it plays well. At least we won't hear any whining about rehashed graphics this time...
From what I remember from previous Slug games, the lifebar was always there, but it only filled up when you got into a vehicle. Perhaps the blue is the bar as it's empty.Atrophyed:
the thing that really bothers me is that blue lifebar. Let's hope it still keeps the same Slug way to play. wink
Don't think so because... can you see where the life's counter is?John:
