The insert is amazing (Spine is really cool too). Yes, full color manual like the English version, and the girl in purple is on the cart sticker...Also, The Snap Case plastic is tight bound like the original run of MS3, not like the KOF 2000 loose plastic snap case. Gotta go to class! SHIT!>>>

Mine just came too. Everything looks really good. The manual looks beautiful in color. The only thing that is missing is the gold warning label. Does anybody else who got the game have the sticker?

Sengoku 3 is an awesome BEU; it actually seems to have some depth to the game play system which should make it last. The challenge level seems pretty high, too, and that's just on level 3!

I haven't really had the time to play it since I also just got it this morning and I too must go to class, but I'm quite happy with my purchase. This is easily the best BEU SNK has ever released, and one of the better BEUs to come out in general. I still think Treasure's Guardian Heroes has more depth and certainly takes longer to beat, but as an arcade-style BEU, Sengoku 3 really delivers; the game play is fantastic; I've already been able to do 16 hit combos! I've also noticed that there can be 5-6 enemies on the screen at once, and despite whatever is going on there's zero slowdown. Very nice! Oh, and the animation is top-notch...it's all quality here!

BTW, does anyone know how to get the two secret characters playable?

I played the arcade(in HK)
All I can say, It's a much much better game than Sengoku 1 (I never have Sengoku 2, so cant compare).
Anyone wants to sell the Japanese version let me know.

Got mine today! I love living so close to new york, even regular UPS ground comes the next day. Anyway, very nice game. haven't played it that much, havent had time. I am happy that the manual, but did anyone else notice the thiness of the paper used. It definitely seemed of a lower grade then KOF 2000. Tommorow after class I will have more time to play - ca n't wait.

Just got my Sengoku 3 Jap from NCS today.
Well done NCS.
Maybe I too late but it seem noboby is writting any comment about this home cart?
First of all, The Jap title Sengoku 2001 looks very nice compare to the English.
It don have a gold warning sticker, same as the metal slug 3 release.
There are a few thing about the option;
1)Level 1-8
2)Hero- 1-9 (no of lifes)
3)Wall paper 1-6 (select wallpaper in option screen)
4)How to play
5)Ranking
6)Quit
There are no language select??? (How could it be??)
Unless u got a debug chip install, theres no way u can choose between English or Japanese.
(Depending on your system)

Regarding dip switch, something strange about it.
All the setting are turn on, (1 instead of 0)
Still trying to see if theres any secret.
Regarding the gameplay;
unless there somebody to play with u, its very boring to play alone after a few stages.
(Repeating enemies)
But the Graphics and Background music are very well done, especially the Japan stages. its rock.
Hopes this helps those who looking to purchase this title.
(BTW, anybody has found any secret or ways to use the hidden characters during start of the game?)
