My thoughts on Metal Slug 4.

Hello!

Let me first ssay that I welcome another installment of Metal Slug. Tis one of my favorites. Here's the deal: Tons of rumors are going to be wandering around know that SNK is dead. Rumors of Last Blade 3,4,5,6,7 and anything else you can think of. The site for MS 4 looks legit, but I must remain skepticle nontheless. Yes, a Korean company is doing KOF 2001, and it would'nt be strange for another to pick up other series, but the rumors are going to get out of hand.

Soon we will have folks saying" "SNK is back in Japan making a new Castlevania and Silent Hill on AES!" I can just see it. Anyway, I'm sure this is all real, and we will see a MS 4. Let's just hope they do SNK justice. Whoe knows, this could be the best (or worst) yet!

i wouldnt mind playing castlevania on my cart
system. the NEOGEO version would be cool as hell.
o yea.. and MS4 sounds neato too.
like to see more on it though.
like the backgrounds and stuff.
be nice if you had more characters too.

New games are welcome... as long as they're developed by talented developers!

It should take place in Afganistan....and you get to kill Osama Bin Laden at the end.....now that would be a kick ass METAL SLUG 4! I think it would be cool to implement an element I haven't seen for a long time......remember rolling thunder? Should be able to go into buildings and into doors to get amunition for your weapons......

Remember that feature in Sunset Riders? What made it so cool is that after you exited the Saloon, Brothel, you would be seen with a prostitute who actually pays YOU! This game had the best prostittues ever. They gave you guns, bullets and gold. I guess the the Sunset riders are known for more than their quick draw. Well, it did take them no more than a second to finsh wioth the girl, so I guess they are known for their quick draw!

Ahh... Sunset Riders... I had the PCB... what a great game... <IMG SRC="smilies/glee.gif" border="0">

Ahh yes.. Sunset Riders. Better on the SNES than Genesis. Anyway..

There's rumors flying around that MS4 will ditch the hand-drawn look for graphics of the pre-rendered kind. This is not good news IMHO.

If aliens and other weird stuff pop up in MS4, OoOooO.. it could be a disaster..

Err, umm, hate to burst your bubble there, GregN, but both have appeared in ever MS since 2.

Metal Slug is one of the best games, IMHO, the 4th episode won't disappoint us, I think... I hope... <IMG SRC="smilies/spock.gif" border="0">
