It actually looks like a guy to me, from the pics of the fight. He's got a long pony tail, with broad shoulders, which pretty much rules out Hibiki. Another pretty boy sword fighter, Rurouni Kenshin-style, probably. He's using a draw stance nearly identical to Ukyou's. I believe he is one of the sub-bosses...you see him silhouetted on the game poster.

When you see him in a character portrait, it sure looks like Hibiki though. Looks like his normal colors are the same as Hibiki's robes too.

Yeah I know, but from that portrait they do look almost exactly alike.

And speaking of Kenshin, this <a href="http://www.student.uni-augsburg.de/~stanteal/ssz/2407_thumbnail.png" target="_blank">fellow </a> looks strikingly similar to the character 'Cho the Sword Hunter'.

Big hair, multiple swords on his back and even one eye closed.

That looks great. I don't see how people can complain about some characters being recycled. It looks like they fit perfectly with the newly designed ones.

Damn I cant wait to see if they made any good changes to Ukyo.
He's my main guy in the whole series, I seriously hope they carried him over well.

I'm so hyped for this freaking game, you guys got no idea.

That sure as hell looks like Hibiki. Great job if it is, thats a brand new sprite.
Nice going SNK..

I'll admit that the more pics I see, the better I think it looks.

But until I get more gameplay info and a chance to see it in action, I'm still going to be weary.

SS is in the late 18th century, LB in the mid 19th. So it can't be Hibiki.
Unless Playmore decided to screw storyline entirely.

Yeah, but look at Galford and Earthquake. I hope it's not Hibiki. They need to keep the Last Blade universe seperate.

If you look at <a href="http://www.student.uni-augsburg.de/~stanteal/ssz/8021.jpg" target="_blank">this</a> pic, you can see that it isn't Hibiki...just looks like her.

Relative perhaps?

last blade is before or after samsho in time? because if that's hibiki she looks older.

Yeah, the guy with all the swords looks sorta like Cho.

What weirds me out is that his name is Tokugawa Yoshitora...I wonder if this even fits into the Samurai Spirits story somehow...the son of the Tokugawa in the SS storyline, who is really not related to the real shougun Tokugawa Ieyasu...I guess.

Story-wise, I thought the game was going on awesome throughout the 3D titles. It was just the gameplay and graphics that sort of didn't work.

I hope they don't do something weird and stupid with the story. And this Yuki Enterprises thing worries me a little too...

Gen-An is known as a bakemono, or a Japanese goblin.

And goblin's are generally small and impish in size, that thing is more like some sort of ogre.
