Ok, mine came in a snaplock. I thought they were coming in the old style case. I'm not complaining as it was a pleasant surprise, but did anyone else get their's with a snaplock?

No, the strikers re-release was announced a long time ago. The release co-incides with the NITD release. I believe they announced it shortly after opening their website.

yeh but thats the thing. they only keep pre orders open for like, A month (for A $350 game) thats pretty fucked up and i have talked to other board members who feel the same way. regardles. the first run of strikers carts were the ones that came with the soft cases and the two different sized inserts because arcade could not get snap lock casses in time.

What is wrong with releasing the game again. Maybe people have emailed Ray and ask for a secong run at the game. I think it is great that Arcade is releasing this game again. And it doesn't matter if it come in the hard case or the soft case. The fact is....WE SHOULD BE HAPPY THAT ARCADE IS EVEN MAKING GAMES FOR THE NEO GEO. I can remember people crying and bitching about the price of 1945 and when it is at a reachable level, people still cry. People bitch at Shawn's shop, People bitch at NGF, People bitch at Arcade..I guess people will bitch at me too. I will also say this, if Arcade did not release NITD and NGF did..guess what, people will bitch at that too. To Ray Young and Arcade, my hat goes off to you guys and thanks for the great converter and all the games that you guys have worked hard on.

Whats wrong with Arcade's price? NGF was offering their version for upwards of one thousand dollars.

Why are people trying to villify !ARCADE! ???

THey are doing an excellent job and from what I hear, have excellent customer service.

They gave us the Phantom-1 converter for chrissakes! Cut them some slack!!!!!

And in case anybody brings this topic up, I (as an owner of a first run limited edition Strikers) don't care if they keep producing these re-releases. Why? I bought the game immediately because I actually liked this game and wanted to make sure I had one to play. I don't care if the "value" of my cart goes down as long as others can enjoy it on their home system through the constant re-releases.

I agree with this with one exception. I also bought the original Strikers but have a beef with the snap case. We preordered games in snap cases but didn't get them. It's irritating to see the newer ones come that way! Ok, so it's not a problem with the re-release but what the heck.

Tiny issue I guess, but I'll likely not buy another !Arcade! release b/c of it.

Absolutely true. Now I have a Sam Sho 3 standing on my shelf in a soft case because of this <IMG SRC="smilies/annoyed.gif" border="0">
