Anyhow these tournaments, simply wont work how many people are going to show, 5?
Its a GOOD IDEA, but c'mon people this shit dont work.
Reasons are.
1) SNK is known to be dead regardless if they still are alive.
2) neo in general is a cult based system, so the results would be a get together.
3) You will need a incentive to get bastards there one way or another. (Even if they do appear dont expect many, so you wont be dissapointed.
If I lived in the UK then I would appear, but I dont.
Dont set up huge events and expect alot of people to appear, in other words dont set yourself up for a fall.
Call it a get together, but dont call it a tourney, not trying to be difficult, but this dont work.

Yeah im from the UK,but what about southend in essex(i know its closer to me) they have a massive load of arcades and pubs nearby,and to my knowledge they still have some of the older arcades,they certainly have loads of em.Just an idea,dont know when im free though.
A tournament would be cool, but at an arcade i feel it would be a bit strange. Personally i've havent played a Neo arcade machine for years (christ i still havent got my Arcade machine running yet).

Ill be getting a mvs 6 slot cabanet hopefully in a couple of months and some games,if i manage to buy enough beat em ups
ie sam sho 2,kof 95,98,fatal fury real bout
then i will be able to hold a tourney in my fairly spacious bedroom at my flat,but it may not be for another 3 months.
Thats the bad news.The good news is i will not charge and the only expense will be getting to my place,i can only really accomadate 5-7 people comfortably.But it will be a definate address and its no skin off my nose if no one shows up,so its up to you,but in reality as soon as i have my cab
and enough games you are welcome,the only days when no one can come round would be thurs,fri and saturday,most other days i will be in.
Id say going to someones house is the better idea all round.
I have a dreamcast so if you wanted to play that youd have to bring the games you wanna play.Before the day arranged i would get some food and beers in,so it would be pretty cool.Just need that mvs cab.

I suppose it depends on numbers really. The thing with England is that at most you will only be 4-5 hours from someones house. I live in the midlands so about 2-3 from all directions.
