Regarding Neo-Geo.com's chatroom

Hello,

SamuraiX and I discovered that for some reason, the new neo-geo.com chatroom was unaccessible. Since I'm the owner, I am able to go through any bans or lockout mechanisms on a room, which I did in this case. I went in and found "shawn" opped in the channel. The channel was set to "invite only" and it was password protected with the password "suckadick", and was set in strict moderation so that no one could speak but those that either have ops or voice. I looked up the information on this "shawn" and it is as follows:

compare that to:

••• GamersAbyss was on intra.oh.us.hub.chat-solutions.org
••• ···········································································

As you can see, the IP address is identical and the identity of the "hacker" is clear.

This type of childish bullshit will NOT be tolerated on Chat Solutions. Right now, I'm investigating if he had any accomplices. If there are, please be warned that you will also be banned from the network. IF the accomplice is another op from the #neo-geo room, you can consider that room closed down per Chat Solutions' policy.

GamersAbyss aka Sonny aka "Military Patriot" whatever. I lost TOTAL respect for you, it's wise for you to stay out of my sight from now on. At first, I thought that you were just misunderstood .. a good guy at heart that has a short fuse, but it's plainly evident that BonusKun and I was wrong about that.

Believe me, this is NOT over, and if you had any accomplices, be sure that they will receive a similar fate.

I dont know what to say, but this should not have happend. I consider GA a friend, and I have absolutely nothing against the guy... He has always been a stand up guy with me and saved me from loosing $600 from a thief not too long ago. I cant thank him enough for that...

But this went too far, and causes even more problems for you (GA), the chat rooms and the boards. I cannot defend these actions at all, it shoud not have happend... I have been in stupid room wars on Undernet some 6 years ago, and its total bull shit. It's not fun for the majority and you see your friends k-lined (like today).

When I came in chat this morning, Benjamin told me what was going on and wanted me to be a witness. What Benjamin is saying is true and did happen.

I have nothing else more to say....

well I will tell you one thing. I NEVER liked that asshole gamersabyse. he seemed like A total child. he was always cursing at those he didnt agree with(made DSD look like a saint) even when he was wrong. and all that crap from A 40 year old. I just did not like the guy.

Well GA just lost the last shred of credibility he had here or anywhere else. I hope he is banned permanently from IRC chat, ng.com, or anywhere else that matters. I'm not surprised he would do this based on all the complaints that I've seen, now it appears that those complaints were justified. The thing is, if the firewall is preventing you from accessing the IRC server, it's something that has to be configured internally. You will have to find out what port mIRC connects from on your PC, and enable it. Unfortunately, I can't be more specific then that because I'm not very knowledgeable on corporate firewalls.
