Found something further confirming the SNK/Playmore involvement in the use of a copyright for Arcadia Magazine's upcoming KOF 2001 "Fighting Obsession" mook:

The bottom says, "(C)EOLITH CO.,LTD.2001 (C)PLAYMORE 2001."
Also, I wanted to point out the just released Sonic Advance for Game Boy Advance in Japan, from Japanese developer Dimps. Dimps was formed by some of SNK's key development staff last year (including leader Takashi Nishiyama) and Sonic is one of their first big games (other games include Digimon: Battle Spirit for WonderSwan Color and Gundam Online "Universal Century" for PC).
