USB adapter for Neo Geo Joystick or Pad

Not a bad product if I don't say so myself -BUT- you are marketing to the "emu" community who are used to getting there "Neo Geo FIX" for free....
You expect "them" to pay $99 for your joy converter??
Let us all monitor this one and remember we must NEVER FORGET about the "wrong doings" of NGF or history will repeat itself!!

In order to participate in this auction you would have to either currently "own the hardware (joystick or pad)" or shell out up to $140 for that joy converter and a Neo Geo stick and or pad in total.
This auction has 9 days on it and please don't believe it will go for anything less than $99. okay maybe $89 but again "emu users" are used to getting their "Neo Geo FIX" for free. Why start shelling out the cash now??
You want to use a "real" Neo Geo joystick or pad for the PC version??? I know alot of people who find the "old school" joysticks very awkward.
Hey,an original joystick will bring you "emu only" users one step closer to getting the console as well (sinister laugh goin' on here..)

Emu users probably use their own shit, and the only ones who use a snk controller are legit users, so how is this going to end up at 99$? They'll buy it themselves?

Now.. see... I'm trying to "comprehend" how NGF could fathom that an "emu exclusive" user would support that product.
I mean these "emu ONLY people" preach "why pay for it,when you can get it for free."
What makes NGF believe that "emu exclusive" users would start paying for anything Neo Geo related now?
Now....in a community of over 2000 according to the "store" it's a good chance this product will receive hits/interest by accident but mass appeal is highly unlikely.

Signature Series?? Ha! The 1st product these guys ever autographed was the underside of a Neo Geo console's plastic casing with a knife...
Let us never forget their despicable acts ranging from deception to slander!

That thing probably cost under $30 to build. Open up the box, and you will find a shitty USB PC game pad with a few points soldered. PC joystick extention cable and a Radio Shack project box... Cheap shit, build it yourself.

What a joke...

I just hope that one of the first decision of the new SNK company will be to execute all the NGF staff in front of it headquarter!

I think I have to agree with Devilman, it most likely is a Gravis board in there. It was the cheapest USB controler I could find.

NGF Parts list, a little over $20 total..

Pad: $14.99 http://www.bestbuy.com/detail.asp?e=11008476&m=488&cat=544&scat=546

Joy Extension: 3.99 http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1310504536

Enclosure: $2.79 http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F005%5F009%5F000%5F000&product%5Fid=910%2D5031

Official NGF Lifetime Warranty: Priceless er uhhh... Worthless

I personally dont have a problem with emulation per se. But I do have a problem with people who abuse roms... The Neo CD emulator mentioned by Wolferaizer is wonderful. The author made the emulator only play original Neo CD's, you cant play the ISO's floating around the net on it. He kept it legal. Stuff like that I have no problem with...

Actually, here is my hypothesis....

If you look at the USB cable going into the box, you can tell it is molded, it was manufactured that way, BUT, the 15 pin cable coming from the box is not the same way. So, they found a unit, maybe for JAMMA compatible joysticks and buttons, and replaced whatever card it was using with a 15 pin cord.

Takes a little skill, yeah, half professional, half hack job.

BTW, bid now, you'll get the rug too, since he says everything in the picture is included. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Yeah, not a bad idea. However, if you look close enough, you can see hair all over it. I am not interested in a rug with NGF ass hair clippings. Next time, clip it over the sink.

I see what your saying about the molding, but it might just be from a pad. When I hacked a DC pad apart to make a arcade stick, I cut a hole and made the molding look like that. Who knows...

I also find it hard to believe that NGF doesn't have any negative feedback. <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0">

It's tempting, but it wont match my current ass clippings collection. The gerbil hair mixed with theirs ruins its value for me.

LMFAO....I guess you dont want Richard Gere clippings either huh? <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Keep in mind those ass clippings are "Official Big Tymer" clippings and you can only purchase one hair at a time when buying Crossed Swords 2 AES!!!

Watch Dion either cancel the auction early, ending all bids, or get one of his fake accounts to bid on it, if it doesn't reach 100+.

Since I notice he doesn't have his precious reserve, so he made it a 10 day auction. He'll more than likely shill bid to get the price up though, before he would end it.

Chris Ray probably made that thing in 10 mins with 15 dollars in parts.

hehe..I'll give "pin head" Chris"SUGAR"Ray the benefit of doubt and say his "gadget" is worth no more that 50 bucks... $25 for parts and $25 for labor...anything more than that is rediculous.
I tell you these "sons of bitches" are living in a fantasy world..
Signature Series ?? I think I'll go "knife carve" my initials onto the plastic casing of my carts and pass them off as a "signature series" too!!
NGF,the "joke" continues....any relation to Buy-Rite?
