Who's purchasing the Zupapa Conversion by NGF?

Over 300 people pre-paid for this "thing" according to NGF HQ.
Would anyone like to step forward and admit they were "daring" enough to send these humanoids money for the Zupapa Conversion.

The price is pretty reasonable for a conversion,I will say that but is it "real"?
I don't have a problem with their "home brew" products as long as they are priced and represented as such.

So would anyone like to keep us updated on the transaction if you pre-ordered with these "people(?)"?
Did these "people(?)" even provide a manual and insert for display on their site??

MVS signature labels??? HA! Pahleeeeze...

It shipped yesterday, all of those 'customers' should be getting them soon!

Still find it quite interesting that they dealt with FACE, considering FACE no longer exists, and some of the documents in their pictures looked quite aged (the FAX papers, they look old).

My guess is they found someone who took all of the art when they left, and gave him some $$$, maybe $1000, for all of the goods.

There is no way they got it from Aruze (officially) with the legal separation of SNK and Aruze by the Japanese courts, and the auction held soon afterwards. Only way I see is the back door.

I'll admit, I could be wrong, but this is how I see it. The picture convinces me that they found the artwork, and that they obtained faxes between SNK and FACE probably from 1994 from the aged look at the paper. Check the edges of the fax paperwork, and look at how the ink has started to fade. And, why would they have a fax from SNK Corp, shown in the picture, if they dealt with Aruze? Toss in some letters with their own supposed letterhead to try to make it look official, and try to make the pics look real.

What a joke, everyone knows that "quantity sold" figure from their site (over 300, yeah right) is a joke! They'd be lucky to sell 10 of those carts, and 9 would be to fake IDs in their own forums ("Big Eddie", "Atom", "TacoX", etc.), which of course means they sell them to THEMSELVES, lol . . . <IMG SRC="smilies/loco.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/loco.gif" border="0">

Anyway, I'll be interested to hear if ANYONE here at all bought one, and if so what it looks like . . . given the past history of these guys, I'd be surprised if they ship anything at all, much less an actual home cartrdige. Now if Mr.Dion stated that he's sold over 300 copies of Zupapa we should'nt have a problem getting 1% of that customer base to step forward and just give us an update.
I in "no way" wish to attack a NGF customer but feel this is a good FYI for the community @ large.

well of course I would never buy anything from those 2. I am also Glad SNKNEOGEO is coming back to america.

I am just waiting for the picture of the insert with the scan of the "Lost" Zupapa mvs marque on the front.

Maybe they will arrange it a little more since they have a lot of material to scan in from.
