Has anyone ever accidently found an arcade/MVS machine in some weird obscure place? Or maybe you know of a bar, bowling alley, or just somewhere that there are aracde machines?

The reason I ask, is because a couple of weekends ago I was driving through rural Wisconsin, and when we stoped in this small town to get gas there was a MVS machine with Prehistoric Isle 2 in it. The game is awsome, and I have never seen it before then. I was wondering if someone would want to start an area of www.neo-geo.com for MVS/arcade sightings?

I have no clue on how to build a web page, so I hope someone else would be willing to make this possible. Any ideas???

I was recently in Las Vegas on vacation and spotted a 2 slot with galaxy fight and slug 2 while staying at the Luxor (the big ass pyramid with the light on top) It was in their game room. Nice to see that the 'ol MVS is still representing in a major casino/hotel!!! Hell I even saved some quarters from the slots and gave it a couple plays <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> Had to show some support for the red n black <IMG SRC="smilies/tickled.gif" border="0">

My local Tesco store has an mvs wif metal slug/super sidekicks and a golf game in the staff cafe its mad cause when i tell people ive got that they dont beleive ive actually got an arcade machine in me house!

I'm actually compiling a list of Neo Geo machines on my site - I haven't had time to even look at my site for the past week or two (work <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0"> ), but hopefully I'll get it online in the next few days and add the arcades that people emailed me about!

If you're talking about obscure places to find an MVS, there's one in the snooker hall in Gloucester city centre. A six slot I think. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

There used to be a 4 slot in the (small) gameroom of a Red Robin (restaraunt) here in Newport Beach California. It had Samurai Shodown 2, a World Heroes (forget which one, but it seems every damn MVS has at least one WH), Bust-A-Move and Nam 1975. I fed about two bucks into Samurai Shodown 2 and left satisfied. Haven't been there in awhile, wonder if they still have it. Also, there used to be a 1 slot in the Pizza join that was across my street with Bust-A-Move, they went out of business though...

A really good four slot is in St. Paul at the Midway Pro Bowl. They Have King of Fighters 98, Metal Slug 3, Strikers 1945, and Blazingstar. Goodness!!!

The one with Prehistoric Isle 2 that I started the thread with is in a city called Toma in Wisconisin. It's in a Kwik Trip there across the street from Mcdonalds and the Greyhound station. Plus that is the biggest convienent store I have ever seen, and they sell 40oz of Olde English YUMMM!!!

Good old Midway Pro Bowl. Might have to check it out! I remember them having one back when I was still in high school! Lots of drunk folks used to hang out there and try to impress each other with their amazing skill at landing gutter balls! It's true! Good to see you at the gathering by the way!

hey i played taht 1 too, i go to vegas every year on vacation. it is soo kool, i have played taht 1 liek a million times, lol i always look foward to playing taht 1.

hmm...i've seen a few

there is one in harvey's casino hotel in lake tahoe, nevada

theres also a mini golf place on the same street, they have an mvs cab too, 4 slot i think

theres a couple, like 3, in the Circu Circus casino in nevada...i forget what the city is, not las vegas

there was also this 2 slot in a pizza place we stopped at, forget what it was called, it had ms and msx. they also had a marvel superheroes on free play <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> this was in nevada as well, or was it california? not sure..

and finally, in my home state, theres one in the arcade at Menlo Mall in menlo park new jersey

oh and theres one in my basement too <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

where i live, there used to be one in pizza hut last year with KOM and WH
also there was one in some local pizza shop last year, same games i think....i bet they get them from the same distributor

A while ago, not expecting anything, I just happend to be dropping someone off at the grey hound bus station, and BAM! There was a two slot machine with Metal Slug, and Metal Slug 3. First time I got to play Slug 3, I was so happy. Though I thought to myself that it doesnt deserve to be in a dingy old bus station, the slug 3 cart needed a more loving home like my house <IMG SRC="smilies/smirk.gif" border="0">

i just drove home from Newport Ca. to houston last weekend, and was driving through the middle of nothing and stoped of the i-10 for gas at one of those big truckstop gas stations and came across a single cab of neo it was a 4 slot 21' monitor the controls were perfect and it had SS2,4, Last B1(the better of the two)and pulstar. just thought it was strange that it was the only arcade machine there and it had those games, i thought maybe a neo fan owned the joint. (hey Feel Good i use to live off jamboree and san juaquine hills, stayed in NP for a year and a half. movin back out next fall)

Hey folks! I'm back from Las Vegas, and I found all of the following Neo-Geo related cabinents in various parts of Sin City:

Found a 2-slot MVS cabinent containing Galaxy Fight and Metal Slug 2 at an arcade in the Luxor.

Located a one-slot MVS cabinent with Bust-A-Move in the arcade in Caesar's Palace.

Spotted Metal Slug 3 in the arcade section of Circus Circus (right next to Capcom vs SNK)

Found three (yes, three) Neo-Print booths in the arcade at New York New York (hey, no one said it had to be just MVS cabinents).
