Personally, I've never had a problem with emulation of older titles that are no longer in demand, since it's a good source to preview a game that you want to buy.
Recently, bootlegs (or "parallels" as SNK likes to refer them as) of KOF 2001 MVS carts have been found selling in China, Hong Kong and now in the states for about $300.00 a piece. The cost of this game is well above that amount. To be more specific, the U.S. "distributor" of these bootlegs is someone from the San Diego area. Let's put it this way, unlike before, Kawasaki plans on legally pursuing the culprit of these acts until this bootleg crap is done with.
I also have a gut feeling that the person distributing these KOF2K1 garbage reads this board. Whoever you are, Kawasaki is coming after your ass. Just thought I'd give you fair warning. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
