i think things like street fighter and kof can be compaired..but compairing kof to a vs series game (super jumping) is like compairing a 2d fighter to a 3d fighter..they might as well not even be the same genre cuz they are 100% diff
i have been a HUGE mvc2 player and it is quite a deep game when its played to its full potential..but if i had to make a decision all and all i would take kof or cvs2 over mvc2
