Yes, if the encryption stays the same, but do you really want to get the MVS cart right now? current price for MVS cart is $1200, check this price list (I remember it was $1800 the first week it came out)

Well even for MVS owners a NeoGeo home system with KoF2001 is much cheaper than buying only the MVS cart. Oh well...you can have the cart right now instead of next month...but is it really worth spending that much money?
So if you do own a home Neo...why would you waste a thought on the MVS cart? You can't be serious if you want to spend 500$+ extra cash on that game just to get it earlyer than everybody else <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

In regards to mvs vs aes. there is no doubt that the mvs price will plummet after the aes version is released. The only reason why the mvs cart is so pricey right now, is obviously because thats the only way you can get it. Who knows, the mvs cart could even go down to 200. Traditionally, mvs has always, and will always be cheaper.
