What do you think the probability is of an official (not Arcade! or NGF) Zupapa AES release?

I'd say virtually zero. Even the supposed "NGF" release will probably just be a few MVS carts converted, with their tainted "artwork".

On the subject of official home cart releases, I really think about $270 is the max I'll pay anymore for releases. These specialized $400 releases from !Arcade! are just too high, not worth that kind of money . . . I mean, for that amount you could get an XBox and two games, a GC and 4 games, a POS2 and two games, or TONS of Dreamcast stuff. Just not worth that kind of money . . .

Do we need another "rejected proto" release? This should stay in the dumpster with Ganryu and NitD.

Zupapa is not that bad...
Anyway it's near impossible to see an official release...

Yes, but how about the "lag time" between MVS and AES releases. Certainly, the release of Sengoku 2001 was a surprise to many.

I highly doubt an official release, but if !Arcade! did one with full color manual and insert, I would be interested if it was $280 or less. It just looks like a fun game. I'm still waiting for a game so colorful and crazy, that it actually gives me a seizure. It would make the WARNING stickers that much more cool!

P.S.

No offense to those with epilepsy, I just want to get the full worth of a game, especially if I'm paying as much as I do for Neo AES carts.

Amen, Wasabi. I love the Neo, but here's more than enough shit titles for it as it is. I'll take all the excellent fighters, shooters, and sports games with sick replay value though. If someone digs up a half-decent Baseball Stars 3 proto out of a mythical rabbithole, I'm all for it.

Zupapa, Ganryu, and NitD aren't that impressive, I played twice and don't think I'll get back to them for quite a while. For that reason, I'm not prepared to pay $400 for an unofficial cart (even for collectors like myself who has every official home cart), if it's official SNK or Sun Amusement release, yes, I'd go for them. Another factor to consider from !Arcade! is the look of game, check this Japanese collector's site who bought Shock Troopers and NitD from !Arcade!

For some it's OK, but for newer release, I must have a shiny clam shell box and fresh insert/manual, it's the main dif between official and unofficial products, when you get Sengoku 3 from SNK, you know what you're getting, there's no comparison. I'd just settle for MVS carts if those games never come out on home carts.

Vincewy, I thought you love to pay $399 for !Arcade!'s converted cart and even suggest him to have second run if I remember correctly from !Arcade! forum.

Plus, I'm sure !Arcade! uses clamp case and old style one also.
