I was wondering since there has been an alert brought to us by our bud RyoGeo, if since some people (includign myself) buy MVS games to convert to AES home cart games. Before the !ARCADE! convertor it seemed like the only way. I was just curious if it was just as easy to create a "bootleg" AES game using these flash memory chips? Since I have never opened a AES home cart(don't know how to either) how can you check? I know that on the MVS games you can either see through the shell or can take out the 4 screws and check for the chips. ANY one thinking what I am thinking since there seems to be a few Garou "bootleg" MVS versions out there? Did any of them make it into a home cart conversion and get passed off as the official one? ........Just my thoughts....

that sounds like a great idea but i once asked someone about that and he said that the flash chips will end up costing a lot and you still have to sac a cart, but i dont know cause i have never tried to do this, but let me know if you successfully do one

Well i have a home cart modded from a flash rom and it is packed in the cart so tight that the cart will not rattle when you shake it. It is also a little harder to convert.
