i have opened up all of my carts and they seem to be fully legit,
if you don't want your neo-carts i'll take them off you and exchange them for some other carts.

I found that I have one bootleg. Damn Last Blade has those shitty eeproms. I'm going to contact the guy I bought it from and try to get a real version.

Damn with all the bootlegs going around on MVS I am worried to even buy MVS carts. I don't want to get ripped off. So I guess now when I buy an MVS game I have to ask the seller if there are chips with holes in them? I bet there are so many of these damn things being sold and re-sold by people who don't even know they have one.....
On the flip side of this....Is there a chance that someone could "bootleg" an AES home cart by using the same method? Since I have never opened a AES home cart (don't know how to either) I don't know how you could even check....I know with the MVS carts you can either look through the plastic and/or unscrew the cart shell and check the chips. Any light about HOME cart "bootleg" versions?

Don't panic too much
SNK used EPROMs as well as MASK ROMs
If you want to be sure - check the solder connections on the underside of the board - if they have all been reworked - that would generally be a better indication of a copy board - sometimes MASK production lags and if demand is high - it may be better to use EPROMs that MASKs that would result in the market not being supplied until later on.

Well... I know I've got one bootleg. Bonus-Kun has mentioned that Pulstar carts which are labeled Pullstar are bootlegs. At first I thought it was Engrish.
All my other MVS carts (Breakers, Breakers' Revenge, MSX, MS3, Blazing Star, Shock Troopers 2nd Squad) are the real McCoys.
