He's going to drop the price of the Billy-Box by £100, and give all us loyal fans, who already bought it, a big freeby of two games and a controller!

I dont remember Sony doing that when they slashed the price of PS2???

Ever-so-slightly old news (I heard about it on friday 19th) but thanks anyway.

I guess that lovely Mr Gates and his lackeys have to do something to shift a fiew more units, otherwise the Xbox will be the victim of 'Death by PS2'

I've already asked for my free copies of Rallisport and Gotham.

Sony has yet to drop the price of the PS2 here in the states, despite repeated promises that they will do so. <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" /> The last price drop was supposed to happen back in December. <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" />

You buy a console and a few weeks later the manufacturer slashes the price! <img src="graemlins/blowtop.gif" border="0" alt="[Blow Top]" />

And its not like we dont get royally screwed in Europe anyway!
PS2 £300 on release ($435)
X-Box £300
GBA £90

It is really annoying!

At least Bill Gates is trying to not alienate the few loyal fans the console has in Europe so far!

Yeah, and you can say its because the console is so new, that the price drop this early in its life is unprecidented, but even so, its still a good move!
Well, I think so anyway!

Now all we need is for Sony to follow suit, and Nintendo have said they'll drop the release price of GC in retaliation!!!
